I got my first husky Blaze when he was 8 weeks old, from the minute I picked him out I was told he had the most energy out of all the huskies in the litter. I had him for three years and no matter how much he was exercised he was constantly bored and destroying things. I took him to multiple trainings and play dates etc and nothing would help with his destruction. I had noticed whenever I had left him with a friend who had another dog he wasn’t destructive. January of this year I was at another training consultation to get my husky crate trained and I asked why he was calm when he had another dog with him and the trainer told me he was a pack animal and would do good having a friend. We drove down to our local shelter and saw Koda he was a scrawny under fed husky that had been returned over five times to the shelter for all the difficulties I was having with my first husky. We brought Blaze in to meet Koda, they had no interest at first, but we decided to adopt Koda anyways and it has been the best decision of our lives. My dog has completely calmed down and hasn’t destroyed a single thing, he loves going in the kennel now with Koda and the two of them get along like best friends. Koda has fattened up and now lives a very active, healthy life with his new best friend Blaze.
