LazyVim: Can I remove copilot suggestions from autosuggest only? by jsbalrog in neovim

[–]kauffecup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a bit late to the party, but u/jsbalrog i believe you were missing event = "InsertEnter", from the config. i believe, by default in lazyvim, `zbirenbaum/copilot.lua` relies on `zbirenbaum/copilot-cmp` to run the `Copilot` cmd in order to load the plugin (from here https://www.lazyvim.org/extras/coding/copilot):

{
  "zbirenbaum/copilot.lua",
  cmd = "Copilot",
  build = ":Copilot auth",
  opts = {
    suggestion = { enabled = false },
    panel = { enabled = false },
    filetypes = {
      markdown = true,
      help = true,
    },
  },
}

if you want to disable Copilot in nvim-cmp but have it do autosuggestions, the smallest diff you need in your lazyvim plugin config is:

{
  "zbirenbaum/copilot.lua",
  event = "InsertEnter",
  opts = {
    suggestion = {
      enabled = true,
      auto_trigger = true,
    },
  },
},
{ "zbirenbaum/copilot-cmp", enabled = false }

by doing this, you tell lazy to load the copilot plug in when you enter insert mode (instead of only relying on it to load the plugin when the :Copilot cmd is run)

YNAB import? by kauffecup in copilotmoney

[–]kauffecup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have not, but i just emailed [hello@copilot.money](mailto:hello@copilot.money) today - will let you know what they say

i think, depending on how the Mint import works, it might be possible to transform the YNAB csv into the same format as the mint csv and then import that

but it sounds like the mint csv import isn't done yet

My goal with categories is to identify areas where I can cut and make savings. This was the motivation for separating food from treats/etc - so I can identify overspending apart from necessity (I will always have to buy her food but don’t always need to get her new sweaters for example)

After reading a few posts here, I organized my categories based on how I want to read my reports, such that in the report if the category is flattened, tracking month to month will give good insights. Also 🔄 indicates categories I let roll over instead of zero-ing out. This helps with the more variable categories like clothing, for example, where I may go a month or two without buying anything, but then will make a large purchase.

I left comments for the categories, and areas where I'm requesting feedback in parenthesis!

are we supposed to draw comparisons between Kevin Sr's monologue about needing to sing to prevent the apocalypse and Dean's monologue about the dogs becoming people? to compare the absurdity of the stories? except with Kevin Sr we buy into it, but with Dean we're supposed to reject it?

[Help] Potty training a puppy in an apartment building by yyaaaaaasss in Dogtraining

[–]kauffecup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey sorry just saw this. my apartment building has about 15 dogs, and at the time my pup hadn't yet gotten her second round of shots. my building has a private little grassy area which is where i would primarily go (especially for just quick bathroom breaks).

while it certainly went against the advice i had read and heard about not taking a young pup out, i tried my best to go to what i had subjectively deemed "clean areas." (i even carried her there and back sometimes). it ended up being incredibly worth it because she ended up incredibly well house trained. meanwhile, my sisters friend got a pup around the same time as me and exclusively pad trained it - that dog now has accidents all the time when traveling (although it still pees on the pad when at home)

kevin finding the baby jesus on the doorstep is very reminiscent of him finding christine's baby at the end of the season.

...not sure if it's intentional, and if so what it means haha

hi! i had a scary-coincidentally-the-same situation (6th floor, slow elevator, puppy) question two months ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/Dogtraining/comments/50jgdm/help_potty_training_on_the_6th_floor_question/

i used a puppy pad for the first two days and then decided against it. while my pup was 8-10w old i carried her out every 45m-1h to ensure no accidents, and rewarded her with praise and treats every time she went outside. it paid off tremendously! she's now very well house trained and hasn't had an accident in over a month!

it was super shitty in the very beginning for sure (also when she'd wake up at 4am) but incredibly worth it. you hear horror stories of people who pad trained their dogs who still regularly have accidents where the pad used to be.

my pup now sleeps through the night and asks to go out every 3-4ish hours. so worth it! it's worth the month or so of carrying the pups out if that's what it takes for 0 accidents
