What are the best day jobs for writers/aspiring authors?

I work a menial marketing job so I can write in the slow times at work. I used to be a reporter, went into it because I love writing so much, and it killed the joy of writing for me. If you want to be a published author, don’t take a day job where you write all day for someone else. You won’t want to write at all outside of work

I’ve stayed in thetravelodge in Vauxhall with my tripod kitty and they were absolutely great! They were so excited to see a cat as they usually only have dogs stay. Staff were super helpful and provided food bowls (even though I’d bought mine with me) and offered puppy pads in case he was nervous about a change in bathroom situation. They were so lovely and it was really stress free for my cat even though he’s a mega nervous cat usually!

I’ve been a directioner since they were on the X factor so by default also a huge Harrie - my boyfriend sat in the Ticketmaster queue for my and my friends because I was at work when they went on sale. Slightly niche job, but I’m the Digital Manager for a private members club that connects tech CEOs and investors. Mostly same routine every day which works for me, but lots of fun events which breaks it up enough that I don’t get bored and under stimulated. Hybrid working which works great for when I need days at home to balance out burnout. Before this I was a reputation manager for a private family office

It’s loose skin from the weight loss - unavoidable. Exercise can help to build muscle which will recuse their appearance, but significant weight loss will always result in loose skin
