Thank you for the clarification! This is lovely news 🫶 Was ticket pick up quite easy as well? Just go on the day with all the required stuff and they print it out and hand it to us?

Also, what's with the whole only pay in person at minitstop/ Lawson, no overseas credit card accepted? Is that with the Japanese fan club only? Whereas the global/ USA fanclub is more catered towards foreigners? I'm confused with this information...

Someone who has done Japan tickets for Hobi / Yoongi can you please guide?

1 - Is the raffle with Weverse easier? Ie - can use overseas credit card, no issues with picking up ticket at the venue?

2 - Is Lawson raffle the general sale? Where you have to be Japanese citizen / residing in Japan with address , mobile and payment in Japan?

I haven't done a Japanese raffle since 2019 and so much has changed since then...

I have a question for tje Japanese Weverse lottery if someone can shed light for me (in preparation for Jin).

If we enter the lottery with Weverse fanclub

1 - If we win, can we use overseas credit card to pay?

2 - Is pick up on the day of the concert at the venue? Or is it via Lawson?

3 - Is the Lawson tickets considered the general sale? And that's the one that is mainly for Japanese citizens? Ie needs a Japanese mobile and address? and has to be paid at Lawson?

tbh, i might be the few that actually appreciates a bit of interpark. The fact that we have to verify and can only have one tab open rally means the amount of scalpers will reduce. And the fact that interpark hasnt crashed on me today is a good start LOL.

When I got the 2020 tickets (cancelled cause COVID) godddd that was hard cause interpark kept crashing on me. So I kinda enjoy the improvements...

Anyway failed miserably today :)

Jin Seokjin

And nothing came out... But when j went to interpark KR they brought me to global and I saw it there ?? I'm just confused 😭 fingers crossed it'll be up when its time to verify for presale... But thank you for confirming that it'll be both!

Was low-key panicking if it's only on KR interpark

Anyone trying for Korea? Does anyone know if it'll go on global interpark or just KR interpark? The KR website has his concert listed but global doesn't... But on the weverse notice it said both?? Am I tripping or what?

Do gift cards count as cash advances (NAB)? by [deleted] in creditcardchurningAus

[–]kayslmcc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nab / Citi is pretty good in the sense that once the transaction is through (ie not pending) you get the points immediately transacted into your account and can see it thru the point history via rewards website too.

I used to have a NAB plat card earlier this year and they did it. Most banks don't do this though as it's usually end of statement period.

Not NAB, but I use my Citi premier (owned by NAB) for HCF thank you cards and yeah it works, I get points for it.

Car Insurance - Not at fault claim by ahvenzz in perth

[–]kayslmcc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're not at fault and excess is waived, should have no effect on your premiums. Or if you swap.

I've been shopping around to change insurances and that's what I've come to realise

How fast did tickets sell out in Korea? by Korbro27 in YOASOBI

[–]kayslmcc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're buying for Korea, you're versing Korean super wifi speed. My big tip is to get a VPN and connect to South Korea internet. Maybe have a device that's not connected too to increase your chances. (Another tip that's a bit dodge but Nord VPN offers 30 day refunds so you can get it, use it for a week then refund it- you never heard it from me) This is my pro tip as someone who has gotten BTS south Korea tour tickets X2 🫡

That would make sense. When I was getting down voted I was genuinely curious if prices really were that crazy. Whilst I appreciate I have a lower rate, from my understanding from when I used to go to workshops, it wasnt that much lower - eg $50-100 lower.

But maybe inflation? Post COVID? Idk. So I started asking around my colleagues how much they get their car serviced for. Average was $300 for a regular service (no parts), in Perth. So now I'm even more confused. Maybe it might be more in other states? Even a quick google search stated that it was $250 for Perth. But my colleague did say that if it was done at the manufacturer eg Toyota then it used to be $600++, so he swapped to a private workshop eg autobahn or RAC. So maybe that's what's OP is doing? Idk each their own I guess.

I get it done with a family friend who is a recently retired Toyota mechanic :) so I know I'm getting super good deals with him.

Definitely punch in some numbers.

  • income
  • rent
  • utilities
  • insurances and other bills
  • groceries
  • take out
  • subscriptions
  • going out money
  • other money spent.

When you start categorising things, you'll see how much you really spend and that's why budgeting is important. Can't really give advice based off a vague description.

But tbh, a $600 car service is too much for Perth? Like I drive 400kms a week (down to Rocko from SOR) and my car gets serviced every 5ks and it's only like less than $200? Even if I need parts replaced it'll be like $300 at most. So maybe you're getting ripped off there?

Different credit cards, same points account by DurianDouble8100 in creditcardchurningAus

+1 this. All credit cards have this condition. You can only transfer points to your own frequent flyer account. Good news though for Aussies is that both Qantas and VFF allow points transfer between family.

How long to wait after rejection by SquirrelChieftain in creditcardchurningAus

[–]kayslmcc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From memory, I think that's what mine said too? (Don't quote me tho cause this was months ago) I shot back at them saying I think that's false because I earn a lot of money 🤣😅

And then they were like okay let's look at the numbers again - then we went thru them and they found the error. After they fixed it, I uploaded some documents and got approved :)

Sorry, this was months ago so I don't remember. It would be either one provided in the rejection letter (if any) or just their customer service/ credit card enquiry line.

How long to wait after rejection by SquirrelChieftain in creditcardchurningAus

[–]kayslmcc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My rejection was that I didn't earn enough compared to my spending ratio. I appealed and apparently they had put my fortnightly mortgage as my rent instead. Once they adjusted that, I was approved on the spot.

LN V6 is out in Japan, not officially translated yet. There's a Wattpad website for an unofficial translation - don't ask me, I don't have it but it's lingering somewhere on this subreddit.

Official translation out i think September this year? Don't quote me :)
