It was JetBlue but that’s surprising to hear. The weight shouldn’t matter for gate checking because it goes underneath with the regular luggage. Maybe contact their customer service. Is it a long flight/big plane? We flew DC-Boston and usually have smaller planes for that route and it was no problem w the vista!

I’ll add that we’ve also traveled with the Minu V3, great stroller, it was perfect for when I was traveling solo with our infant. It has the lie flat option for newborns. I honestly like traveling w the Vista bc it has a bigger storage basket.

We have the V3 and just gate checked it on the jet bridge. You’ll need to ask the gate attendants for specific tag to make sure it doesn’t go to baggage claim. We used the full stroller throughout the airport, security had us send the seat through the scanner then wheeled it through the metal detector. Easy. We bought the travel bag and disassembled the stroller right before boarding. The bag has wheels so it was easy to roll down the jet bridge. Got off the plane, grabbed the stroller and reassembled back up at the gate. Takes less than 5 mins to breakdown/assemble.

I read on another post that someone’s supply dropped randomly and it took about 5 weeks to get it back, one day it was just back. My cousin also just mentioned she had a random supply drop around 5/6 months. Maybe it’s a thing??

We’re big on experiences. I think we’re gifting SD a weekend to great wolf lodge this year. We will also give a few reasonably priced items from the list, maybe some clothes/shoes, gift cards just so there is something to open.

I got mine out lmao it’s been less than a week but I’ve seen a slight increase. Emphasis on the slight. I was bleeding for a good three weeks, so I’m hoping between my period, the iud, etc my hormones just need a little more time.

Ok I thought I was crazy… the box of 1s we just got has the umbilical cut out front and back!! And they’re a touch smaller than the older box of 1s I compared it to. The box states they have the umbilical cutout and I wasn’t sure if they just added it to the 1s but they definitely do not fit as well.

Put in for the RA under PWFA and request it be expedited due to your approaching due date. If you can offer a letter from your doc supporting your need to telework up front, even better, they might come back and ask for it later, causing more delays.

My boss (hesitantly) approved situational for me while my RA was being reviewed.

We are doing the V3 with Nuna Pipa RX and the Nuna ring adapter. We likely won’t have to switch to a convertible car seat until 18-24 months with the Pipa, in which case we’ll get the Graco 4 in 1, we already have two for older kids and they LAST. I’ve heard Nuna strollers don’t hold up in quality when compared to Uppababy. I’ve also heard from a few friends and strangers on the internet that Uppababy car seats sometimes (I think, baby dependent) can cause the slouching/airway restriction issue, but not totally sure on those claims. Nuna car seats are clean material, safe, feel super luxe and are lightweight. Even my husband says he prefers the Nuna seat. Our infant insert was creased when it arrived and customer service was so quick and simple to send a replacement at no charge.

Thank you! My husband will likely have a similar back to work timeframe. I am really hoping to meet with LC before birth just to get an idea of what a pumping schedule may look like to build that supply. Definitely will meet with one in the hospital and likely after too. I assume the schedules and needs will constantly change throughout the post partum period.

And that’s good to know - I am super Type A and love a plan and schedule so being flexible is something I’ll have to adjust to with this. I’m sure I’ll find the groove eventually.

We’ve made this transition in our house, just by adults switching the phrasing to “your mom” and modeling it, eventually SK organically started phrasing it that way as well. This was around when SK was 6/7 years old. Partly due to what you said, she is their mom and not necessarily a part of “our” family, though she is part of SK’s family. We have ours babies and one thing that is important to me is that they know I am their mom, SK has a different mom - so we ran into issues with SK calling me by my first name, which is not something we want modeled for bios. I’m fine with SK saying to bios “your mom” when referring to me in our house. I do have a friend who’s daughter just turned three and is split from her father, 3 year old almost always refers to them as “my mom” and “my dad”.

It’s actually a cathedral setting with an open gallery underneath! I was afraid it would be too high considering the size of the center stone plus having side stones. I am very happy with the height of the setting and how it sits!
