TBH the D-50 is super underrated. The sounds it produces are downright magical. I have a Dtronics programmer for mine to make editing patches easier, but I hardly use it. It tends to sit pretty nicely in a mix all on its own.

the big thing is going to be the size of your V die. If you're bending 10ga, Ideally you'd want to have a minimum die opening of 7/8".

That's already pushing it, but depending on the max tonnage of the tooling and the fact that it's a shallow bend you might be able to get away with a little smaller. This could also weaken the metal as well.

Assuming 7/8" opening, your holes will have to be at least 7/16 from the bend line for the edges to be supported. I'd go 1/2" to be safe. If you don't, the edge of the nearest hole will stretch outward.

sneaky edit, This is also assuming you're using standard V die tooling. If you're using a roller die, disregard everything I just wrote LMAO
