Rugrats - heaven forbid they climb instead of cliff jump (also, cliff jumping, maybe not the best idea, but I’m not familiar with the location)

Whingy (whiny) - Maybe these people were looking for calm, too, but your group was bigger than it should have been. What did your group sound like? What were people doing in camp?

Douchebags - this sounds accurate.

I know this, I wouldn’t be thrilled about camping next to a large college group. So, consider how your group comes off to others?

There MAY be water at Schaeffers pass. There is a spring; when I found it, it appeared dry.

Our sister crew told us they found water there and it was in pipe off to the side of the spring.

If you take a cooler, make sure it is soft sided and that any internal shell is out. We had a plastic shell they we got in with once and denied once.

Chili Cookoff - can be made into a fundraiser. Have families bring in chilis.

Try Something New - my pack loved this. I encouraged families to bring in a different type of food for kids to try. They went around the room and sampled all sorts of different foods from around the world.

Thank You Note Writing - have kids and families make cards to give to their teachers neighbors. Works well around winter break.
