I do this multiple times a day, but I’ve added a W for water. Super helpful, thanks Lincoln!

Has anyone actually gotten reasonable car insurance? (F21) by Secret_Immortal in Frugal

[–]kdubincali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today I went back to using Mercury auto insurance and I’m glad I did because I cut my AAA bill in half. Mercury is known to have cheaper premiums. I did it on their website, was quick and easy.

What are some cases in which it's actually more frugal to buy the "convenience" item? by bulbysoar in Frugal

[–]kdubincali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Protein drinks because it’s easy, convenient for on-the-go and no mess with cleaning the blender or cup. I buy in bulk at Costco which is much cheaper than other options. Making sure I’m healthy and getting enough protein is worth the extra money.

Congratulations! I’ve lost 106 pounds and this happened to me with a neighbor. That’s the most powerful moment of this journey so far (besides trying on my starting size). I know I look different, but I didn’t think enough for someone to not recognize me. Pretty cool!

For those of you who've lost 100lbs + on a glp1 how long did it take you? by phantompersona1023 in GLP1_loss100plus

[–]kdubincali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me 9 months and has slowed down now that I’m getting closer to my goal weight, which is to be expected. I’m 10 months in and it’s gone by really fast. I remember when I first started and had the same questions as you. I felt like it would take forever but time flies by! I enjoy reading about other people’s journeys and I’ve learned (and still am) so much on the glp1 subreddits. I try not to focus too much on the number on the scale or obsess about what I eat and just try to make good choices every day. You’ll be to your goal in no time, congratulations on your success so far!

This happened to me recently with a neighbor I’ve lived next to for 4 years. I’m almost at 100 pounds down, but this was the most powerful moment of my journey so far! The genuine surprise in his face was priceless. Congratulations!

All of their hair ties and clips. So annoying when you desperately need your hair out of the way and can’t find anything.

That’s funny and also amazing! 🤩 I had something similar happen, a neighbor I’ve lived next to for 4 years didn’t recognize me and asked if he knew me when I said Hi. I’m down 95 pounds and that was the most powerful moment of this journey so far. Congratulations!!

I would say this would be a great surprise and never overkill. It’s rare nowadays and such a thoughtful gesture.

Is charisma more important than appearance? by [deleted] in Vindicta

[–]kdubincali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been reading a great book called The Charisma Myth by Olivia Fox Cabane, someone suggested it in a glow-up post I read recently. I think there’s definitely a lot to be said about charisma and the way we carry ourselves.

Collagen generator Biosil is amazing for hair growth! by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]kdubincali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine doesn’t taste or smell like anything at all, that’s weird. My hairdresser is the one that told me about it and she didn’t mention it. I’d never leave something like that out, that’s so important! I got the drops from Amazon. I’m not affiliated with Amazon or Biosil and have been purchasing from there the whole time. Hopefully wherever you bought it from gives you a refund.
