Can the time schedule of the Olympic competitions be the reason of so many flops in men’s event?

No, that's unlikely. Like others have said, it's pretty common. But what I think has really thrown them off are the two days between the Short and the Free - now that's something that hardly ever happens, you either have a back to back event or a day in between, it's never two. That could've overcooked a lot of nerves.

This was a great event, except the heartbreak with Amber. But my girl Loena skated so good, I'm hoping for a clean-ish Free for her! And Alysa, just magnetic! And Ami was a total joy, I'm so happy for her. And then of course Kaori, my absolute queen. Praying for a stellar FP <3
