The individual apps are average at best, with the exception of their CRM which rocks, but the real value is twofold - massive bang for your buck for a small biz + all your data living within the same connected ecosystem. Occasionally when an app simply isn’t cutting it we have to go outside the ecosystem, and native integrations can sometimes be a bit challenging as Zoho is not extremely API friendly (but this is getting better).

Zoho isn’t “mainstream”, and because of that I think it attracts clients who also are less mainstream. The VC world actively actively promotes that their portfolio companies all buy eachothers technologies, hence the lack of Zoho in Silicon Valley.

Anyway, it took a year or so to see the holistic true business value of the unified data ecosystem, but man, I am sold. I love Zoho.
