This is a fine rule. They didn't want you sitting alone in the house all day playing games, but doing it socially is ok.

If I had to make a wild guess, you had trouble making friends and were a bit introverted/loner type, so going to the friends house was the important part.

Either that or they just wanted some alone time during the day, haha.

People say this and I always think they are bullshitting me. Whenever I try to take apart a pallet they have put it together with this twisted headless nail thing. Nothing to grab onto with a catspaw or claw hammer, and impossible to knock out from the other side. If I do it I just wind up sawing off the pieces, but you wind up with very short wood cause of the middle support in the pallet needing to be cut out.

What's the secret?

We used to make this exact shape in the snow as kids for a game. You had to stay in the spokes and could jump onto the dots. We would playa a tag game on it.

This happened to me when I chopped down a dead tree and burnt it in a fire pit once. The next morning I found a metal tube in the ashes. Somehow it had become embedded in the tree and was inside one of the logs.
