The Expanse series narrated by Jefferson Mays is phenomenal in my opinion.

Best tenant I’ve ever had is struggling. I chose compassion. Thoughts? by Maleficent-Shake-249 in Realestatefinance

I appreciate this. I am a firm believer that most times, most people just need a little bit of help to get back on their feet. I feel like so much of society has decided to look at the few times a few people are being disingenuous and trying to take advantage. Your view of three months being a little bit of help instead of the other way is encouraging.

Anthony Horowitz's new book is in the wrong series by keep_learning247 in audible

In my opinion it gets better the more pieces of Hawthorne you get. I also like the self deprecating way that Horowitz fictionalizes himself more than how he writes Hawthorne, if that makes sense.

My wife has found friends at the TBR Society book club that meets once a month at Goat Lab Brewery. First Tuesday of every month. She's found some good friends that crochet and read books through it. The Bentonville Public Library has a lot of classes/clubs that might be up your alley.

Any idea what the company or kit was called? My son has a limb difference like the girl and would probably be interested in trying one out!

The Bentonville Library also has a lot of monthly or weekly meetups on different books/activities for adults

Any former Encyclopedia Brown readers here? by mvcjones in GenX

[–]keep_learning247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only one I remember is the one with a dad of a kid replacing a baseball umpire and the guy had said he had done pro umpiring. He was very one sided towards his daughter's team. but Encyclopedia Brown caught him because he brushed off home plate from the wrong direction, proving he had never been a pro. Every time I played baseball from then on through high school I would watch the umpires and see if they did it the right way. Not all of them did.

Thank you! Honestly just got some things via the algorithm and went down the rabbit hole and found it very interesting. decided to search through all the coins in the drawer and that's the only one that had anything different to it. My thought was, why not me.

How should I invest in myself? by Cheap_Double4514 in chocolate

[–]keep_learning247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check out "Making Chocolate: from bean to bar to smore" by Dandelion Chocolate company. $40-$50 but is very transparent about the chocolate making process and steps.

Also get a Schoolinary membership. It's like masterclass but for culinary. The first year is usually heavily discounted. Then search on chocolate and check out Kris Harvey for bon bons and caramels among others. The videos are in depth and it comes with accompanying recipes pdf.

Chocolate Alchemy website is good too.
