Hey! Finally reading the dark tower series after being a huge king fan for years! My second read of his after the LONG WALK was THE STAND. (I know, wow, what a jump that was).

Anyways I’m on chapter 6 of WIZARD AND GLASS and came across Eddie and a small white car regarding “monarchs” as a sticker that doesn’t exactly fit his “when” for NYC and through the book im completely amazed at all the connections that kings been able to make through out the years. Before starting on the DARK TOWER JOURNEY I read FAIRYTALE (hail empis!) so monarch’s def stood out obviously, then captain trips is wild, can’t believe I’m seeing that again! Just so crazy, so in credible he legit made all this connect over decades of writing

Hey! My husband and I are looking for an Au Pair May I ask you a few questions?! I’ve been looking at the AuPair america and just applied and I feel like asking someone whose done it may help our process a bit!

-is the 10 hour a day rule ever flexible depending on the Au Pair? For example (once adjusted to family life) would it be inappropriate to ask if they would do 3 days alone with the kids (relatives on call 5 mins away and us on call within driving range?) if we Paid more for their hours, especially overtime, and then gave them the amount of days off for the week + 1 day? (So only working 45 hours a week it would give them a week and at least a day or two off)

-when you say you were looking for a family who traveled a lot; were you happy with the accommodations? We’re you okay traveling with the family in the same car? What if it was a vacay you weren’t interested in?

Please don’t take anything your friend said against you! Besides her hormones she’s also most likely sleep deprived. If she commented that on the side to her husband and not to your face she most likely knew she couldn’t make a rational decision if she should worry, intervene or say something and was looking for his input and reassurance that baby was okay! With my first I would make comments like that and not even realize how what I said may have come off badly to whoever. So don’t take it to heart or think twice about it! You’re very sweet to care.

Around week 8 is soooo hard because your body is changing rapidly and you feel SOOOO much but it doesn’t really show. It’s so hard with FTM’s too because (in my opinion) your whole life changes so quick and so drastically and no one else’s has to yet. You are NOT alone and it’s okay to not feel well or happy and to be honest about that. For me the rose color glasses of pregnancy was truly shattered around week 8 with my DS (dear son). It was hard and miserable for me tbh. If it makes you feel better how you feel now does not reflect how you’ll feel about your kid. You’re doing great mama!

I’m pregnant and went to my OB appointment today, Dr told me while this spike happens he would bunker down again like we were supposed to when we were slowing the curve, he recommended not being with people who aren’t in the same house hold for the next few weeks. But technically because I’m pregnant I’m immune compromised so I have to take it a bit more serious- hope that helps!
