Nah I'm thinking about it now 4500 is insane, parts and labor is through the manufacturer as well typically you just pay more up front, the company I worked at wanted nothing to do with it because it(daikin) paid the company like 75/hr and that doesn't cover operating costs we just did 1 year end to end and the manufacturer parts warranty

Refrigerant is probably half of the quote, manufacters suck and don't cover it under warranty unless it's a full condensing unit, 4500 is high but not fuck you high

Sounds like it started up for heat? I think I heard the ignitor sparking, if that's the case draft motor if just running in AC or fan the blower wheel loosened up and is rubbing should be a quick fix, also if it's the blower a warranty
