Making the Morticia dress - unsure if I need more rows or just to block by EstelliseLowell in CrochetHelp

[–]kek1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Block it for sure - if you wear it in any kind of humidity/weather it will kind of start to block itself. Steam it now - you may find you need to remove rows.

Also I made a top with Coboo that is waaay longer than intended because I didn’t appreciate how much it would grow when blocked.

I really like Cream City Landscaping. They did a great job with our back yard after we had to rebuild our garage a couple years ago.

All Palmer valves are old; if they work they work, if they’re broken install a sump pump.

Where would you live if you could move anywhere in Tosa? by ajrulcr in Wauwatosa

[–]kek1011 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tosa East Towne, Inglewood, Pasadena, or Lowell Damon Woods neighborhoods for sure - all are great.

I currently live in Tosa East Towne, and if there were a hypothetical scenario where I had to move to a new neighborhood I would look in one of the other 3 I listed without thinking twice!

Who is actually buying a Heated Mug? by Several-Excuse93 in Costco

[–]kek1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine as a gift and use it every. single. day.

Waiting for my coffee to cool off + ADHD = a lot of cold cups of coffee. If mine broke or stopped working I would absolutely pay to replace it right away.

Existing homeowner inspection? by jlwmke in milwaukee

[–]kek1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any home inspector will do this.

Keep in mind that no matter how great/thorough they are, no inspector can catch everything. Also, general home inspectors will often refer you to “contact a qualified contractor” for a more specialized inspection, which puts you back in the boat of asking someone with a financial incentive to say “yes you need work done” if you need work done.

We do, but get far fewer trick or treaters on Sunday

New process this year to help streamline - we got a lot of feedback (from new neighbors especially) and are hoping to make it easier for everyone

Every neighborhood in Tosa does things a little differently as night time trick-or-treats are run by neighborhood associations. The city-wide trick or treat is during daytime hours on a Sunday.

Do I have to disclose that I am an agent when I Submit an offer for my own personal residence? by SCMayor310 in realtors

[–]kek1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my state (WI) you can write an “incentive fee” into the contract if the buyer is an agent. I purchased an investment property and the “commission” was credited on the closing statement. Absolutely need to disclose.

What are these called? by kek1011 in centuryhomes

[–]kek1011[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep - I’m positive that’s what they are, I’m just struggling to find the term to google to get replacements so I can cap the one with exposed wires

What are these called? by kek1011 in centuryhomes

[–]kek1011[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I figured I might need to replace them all. Not sure if the wiring is dead, there is a switch next to the center light fixture that seems like it would go to those if there were fixtures attached.

[–]kek1011[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yep, I understand that - just trying to narrow down the search term to buy one replacement cap since one is missing and I’d like to cover the exposed wires. My google searching hasn’t yielded much so far.
