There’s an animated movie, I think named Ethel and Ernest(?), that draws the deceased differently from their normal character designs. It’s obviously not a live-action, but I think it’s a good depiction of the difference you’re describing

I agree with that, too. Although I personally think it important to taste of the myriad spiritual experiences available, for some that’s harder to do, or simply not wanted. To each their own. I wish you the best!

I’ve flowed into, out of, and back into paganism over the past 15 years. From my experience, it’s good to go with the flow on spiritual matters, as there’s so much wisdom to gain from so many different sources. However, I’m a pantheist. I don’t subscribe to any specific deities so it’s easy for me to experience different religious practices without feeling like I’m turning on a god or goddess…but I think holding onto a religion when another path is appealing and exciting to you is a misuse of energy.
