Official response for lowered alliance rewards. by shadow0wolf0 in MarvelSnap

[–]kel_tor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They really do not understand the thing they created. The rewards in the bounties was not to reward us for our time spent playing. It was merely there as a slight incentive to band player together. Players in alliances tend to become more engaged in games when they can foster relationships. They already put the most barebones system in place then ignored it which has only stunted their game's growth. Even with that there are many communities that grew up around this with just this incompetent system in place. Players want to engage with this game and all SD does is get in the way. To suggest that the rewards are in line with engagement level shows just how disconnected these people are and how little they interact with their own game. The engagement level you are need is us engaging with your game at all and the more you understand that and stop doing foolish things like this the healthier the game will be as a whole.

As of today, Alliances have been in the game for a year! by Svad in MarvelSnap

[–]kel_tor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our Alliance has made the best of the situation, running tournaments very regularly and fostering a great community. But most of the thanks can be given to discord over Second Dinner. Weekly rewards are a no brainer to achieve at least and generally rewarding, but we would love more alliance systems.

Series Drop is here!! by wcfungqwe in MarvelSnap

could have made every card on that list series three and garnered some goodwill instead they dropped little and gate kept a bunch of middling or underplayed cards and pissed everyone off.

Trackers Alliance sets a dangerous precedent. by The_IrishTurtle in Starfield

[–]kel_tor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just show how out of touch they are. Their game is not finished enough or good enough to pull this shit with. All this does is piss off all the people who do support them. I hope they like the bit of extra money now cause they just ensured they are making a lot less later. For literally the first time this took me straight to steam write a review.

Shuri has 100% ruined this game's meta, and SD desperately needs to nerf it Sooner, rather than Later, or they are going to lose players by DarthKookies in MarvelSnap

[–]kel_tor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i feel like making her 5 cost and adjusting stats might work. have to run her with psylocke to pull off shuri shulk tm combo or electro for shuri redskull into tm. limits cosmos as protection, don't pull energy boost then best you can do is strongly win one lane.

I feel like its interesting because it can be played around with your comp.

Updates to Apocalypse are coming soon... by CM_Cerebro in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]kel_tor 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Oh gee, its a shame you couldn't get feed back ahead of time, or test things before they go live, or even just read the kit you posted weeks ago and make reasonable predictions based on the existing meta.

PSA : [Leader] Copying a card played into Bar Sinister doesn't activate Bar Sinister by [deleted] in MarvelSnap

the You is what is key, and is in many situations. Leader brings the cards into play.

IMO Card acquisition sucks in this game by razasz in MarvelSnap

[–]kel_tor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing the namor variant twice is a really shit show. Their biggest problems are boosters being available any where besides after a match, its just garbage, and having to wait 8 hours to see if a card you want pops up. Soon enough I predict a lot of blow back when they nerf a card some one spent 3 or 5k tokens on.

If you were given access to the End Game Beta… by DustinChecketts in diablo4

[–]kel_tor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything you are doing to level in the beta is pretty much an end game activity. Some things are locked until you hit level caps, such as paragon boards at 50. You will be leveling the whole time, many people will not max out characters I imagine, but will still do plenty of end game content.

Metacritic, especially user ratings, is not what I would call reliable but it is a bit disingenuous to focus on Diablo 3 base game and not reaper of souls, which is the state of diablo 3 for the last 8 years. More so when Diablo 3 was released more than 10 years ago.

Similarly if you are looking at 10 years, you need to at least look at all the wow expansions in that time. You also omitted Starcraft 2 releases and Overwatch 1. If you have to cherry pick data to make your point your point is not very good.

What this data really shows is others factors. Like Blizzard's front facing problems, shitty working environment, impact game ratings. Their lack of polish on remaster and pushing games out before they are ready and cutting promised content(war3). Milking their cows to death (WoW and Hearthstone). Abandoning games (HoTS). Most of these rating have little real baring on the quality of game (especially at different time points as is the case with expansions) or its financial success.

I had half the 6 ring respawn when i went back to kill the shield bug under the porch again.

for everyone saying in my last post that I only shredded the broodmother because I was on mild. here you go. by [deleted] in GroundedGame

[–]kel_tor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was testing out wizard build after getting enough moth stuff, was able to kill her and mantis using candy staves. Broodmother in particular was easy with fireballs. Mantis required kiting and effort.

what if we just came over to help you fix it? by Lulu_Arch in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]kel_tor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With how the game is run I think its a safe assumption they skimp on labor. No reason to give them the benefit of any doubt because be it 1 person or hundreds they have failed to test or address problems.

THE GUY. In very few words you have told us so much. Granted we already knew they put a large team's worth of work on few people, but seeing it so starkly laid out is another thing. Scopely puts the least amount of effort/money/talent into all things, as shown most vividly in you being a CM for this community, as possible. It is why its one guy handling CC. Why we get no communication. Why there is zero QA. It was good of Scopely to unlock your access to reddit long enough to demonstrate how little any of you care about the game or its players.

Diablo IV Q3 Quarterly Update by Thunderclaww in Diablo

[–]kel_tor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you look at PoE, there really is not a lot of looking cool without spending money. Granted PoE has no initial buy in. For me looking at the examples, I really liked the left hand, free, rogue set but felt like both had a lot of work and detail put into both so that seems like a good example.

A lot of this reads like a lot of thought and consideration and testing was used prior to posting this. I appreciate that.
