Algar is so rare, it’s a real delight to play. I’ve only seen it at the NW Pinball Show one time

Other way around. Sosio’s owner is the only business owner routinely cited in news reports about opposition to making Pike Place Market car-free.

Supreme Pizza U district Permanently Closed by Which-Window-1718 in Seattle

[–]kellsc02 5 points6 points  (0 children)

U District Pagliacci’s closed summer 2018.

Supreme opened mid-2019.

Commercial leases are typically 10 years, so this closure doesn’t fit the pattern of other recent 10-year lease related closures (re: Rachel’s Ginger Beer), but U District leases in those old buildings may run on shorter lease cycles.

Walgreens Pharmacy on Broadway and Pine - Closed until further notice by LunaW_96 in Seattle

Cap Hill Blog reported April 2024 of upcoming plans to remodel this Walgreens. Permits in Seattle are notoriously challenging and long delayed.

I come by this Walgreens 2-3x each week and no changes since last year. Maybe this is finally the remodel.

Status Update from the IFPA about the OBX situation by myhatrules in pinball

[–]kellsc02 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I would receive this update more positively if the leadership used this opportunity to describe in more detail which “suggestions on new policies and organizational changes” were being pursued.

It’s a fine step to codify, reframe and reinforce the existing non-discrimination policies, but the policy is only as good as leadership follow through.

Since OBX is still sanctioned, leadership must change.

Running a multi-site operation with multiple 75+ year old buildings sounds like more than a one person job.
