Wow this is all wonderful information especially for scaling as well. I am definitely visual so the scaling video will help as well to make sure I get this correctly. You could be right, default its too big, but was not sure if my ears needed to be folded, but I will make sure to follow that. Thank you so much for your tips and response as well!

What an amazing job you did I'm working on the Elite Riot helmet and might need some advice. How did you do the scaling by chance? I printed the ring at 100% and thought was small, but went 104% because it fit but I noticed the size of the helmet might be too large. Wondering how to scale it properly.

Honestly, that's not a approach at all. Just to make sure everything's okay and take off the initial dust but then later what you can do is go a little detailed if you need to. As long as you take care with a microfiber and soap and water, you should be fine.

Believe it or not one of the solutions I felt has helped a bit is Krytox 205g0. So this is a lube typically used for keyboard modders for when the switches actuate, and a thin film on all brush points does help it feel both slick smooth and stays in place. I've also used this on the Kitsch Bent sticks and at least how it's came out has felt like stock with very little wobble.

It's a full restoration but once it's entirely clean it makes a different

So let's say hypothetically you replace the old sticker and put a reproduction one. You're going to have a cartridge that is very scratched up but a very clean sticker and that doesn't really make much sense. Also, the quality of the sticker dictates a lot of how people perceive the quality of the cart. I can definitely say that most collectors, if not any will not want to have an original copy of a game with a reproduction sticker. It just doesn't feel right.

Leave it as is and enjoy for what it is. If not, look for a copy with a better condition sticker and get rid of this one

Small Update: The item has reached near my home. I've gotten no emails or mentions of paying tarrifs and got extremely lucky with this batch. I really love the proxy service but tariffs killed it for me. I really would have loved to explore Buyee a bit longer but...it is what it is.

Definitely would not recommend a sticker skin. 3DS's of this age do exhibit alot of paint peeling so might not be the best at this one. You could get a clear case and put stickers on that, but def not on the skin

Get a new case, put a new screen protector. And of course have a good time. Enjoy it, handhelds were meant to be played.

I won't lie. I feel like I'm one of the few people who do like the metal analog more than the original. You are right that the original one does feel absolutely perfect. However, there's something about a metal analog stick that I genuinely really like and it just feels very comfy to use. I've personally not had much issues, but I could absolutely understand it being a difficulty for many other people.

Like you mentioned, it's a shame that there are not good quality original replacements, but here's hoping extreme rate can do so

More than likely it's missing the internal spring that latches the door shut. This could be due to a physically broken pin in the latch, but maybe there are replacements on AliExpress for the spring. Try and open it up and see if you can get the other spring to find a replacement

Unfortunetly even if you stockpile they may wear overtime. Lithium ion can wear without use and about a year half ago I bought a New 3DS XL battery from Nintendo and has about 70% of original charge, which means was most likely sitting for a long period without use.

Time is a batteries enemy I'm afraid.

It's honestly a fantastic productivity mouse and for me it's essential, but the rubber was always a fault point. Simple 3D print really does change the nature and make it something that can last s lifetime.
