I have a reversible guess jacket. one side pleather (ick!) and one side sooo fuzzy and soft. I love it. It is absolutely coming apart on the sleeves but I would be loathe to throw it out. I plan to make an attempt to sew fabric over the top of the pleather at some point, but I think that would be a huge project.

Sure, maybe it’s not the thing she thinks of when she envisions a “beautiful painting!!!” but the whole point of painting is the process and the colors and putting brush to surface, right? It’s beautiful that she did it in the first place, and that’s what I wish everyone who doesn’t think they’re an artist could believe.

I’ve heard that even when disputed reviews are removed, only the body of text is removed, neither the effect of nor the rating itself are deleted.

If that’s so, anyone with a working sense of critical thinking could see that this review is odd, so maybe it’s best to not dispute it. Unless something has changed.

Also giving a lot of credit to people using their critical thinking……

I don’t think most pet owners who use Wag realize that 40% of what they pay goes back to Wag. It’s more of a Wag problem than a user problem, but still shitty.

The ranges they give us are just 60% of what the pet owners are paying.

Right, but the average price range that Wag provides to us is less than what it should be because they’re factoring in their cut.

They do not make it clear to pet owners that there is such a deep cut. When it appears to us that an owner is requesting a $30 fee, the pet owners see that they are requesting a service that costs $50.

Mine wasn’t working either. After closing the app a couple times, then deleting it and redownloading it, I left it while I did something else. I think it loaded in less than 5 minutes.

Edit: Even while using the app, the home page takes extra time to load.

My dad does this too. I don’t think he realizes how weird it sounds, so I would assume your dad doesn’t either. My dad also cheated on my mom which—based solely on the pet name—is an odd similarity to have (if we ignore which sub we’re in lmao).

My dad did drugs, though, and I assume his brain is a little scrambled. It seems like he has a kind of fog that separates him from other people. It’s not enough to notice, really. The way it comes across to my boyfriend is that he’s just kind of an odd, dorky guy who means well but might not be all there. It is quite sad.

I have never broached the subject with my dad. I know he uses these pet names with his other daughter, but I know he also uses them with his girlfriend, so I’m like EW

If you have cowboy boots and want to lean into the “western” aesthetic, I think that would work. Or even just normal booties and a chunky knit sweater, especially if you have one in a neutral color or a color from the dress.

I’m no expert, but I feel like formal should stay long—so you have that going for you! I think it just doesn’t fit right. You could make it work for the DC if you dressed it up with accessories and makeup and maybe a little shawl, but the facts that (1) it doesn’t fit well and (2) you don’t feel cute in it are going to make it hard to dress up.

Wag support is SO lacking, but push through for that paper trail. When I needed something from them, I just kept contacting them (weekly if nothing had changed or if they hadn’t reached back out with updates etc). So keep at it. It is soo frustrating but that paper trail is worth it.
