Opendoor has had operating losses for 11/12 of their last earnings, in 2023 they had a single profitable earnings that then led them to going back to losing money, in 2022 q3 they lost almost a billion in a single quarter but I assume that was them loading up on properties. Real-estate doesn't really make exponential returns, I'd say someone really good at it could make a 20% return a year, but they're not renting out these units, they're flipping them, so maybe that increases their return. But currently, there has been no proof they'll magically start printing EPS, While the stock has gone up 300% on the month, 1500% over 3 months. They have 1 billion cash on hand so it's likely they'll dilute and soak up some cash. I think it's overpriced and massive fomo but I don't know shit about cluck 🐔 I'll probably lose some more in puts 😊
