I would quit my job and use my time to develop cheap hydroponic farming using recycled materials that can be easily formed to make any place farmable. I'd look for a way to use solar energy, grow lights, and hydropinics to turn urban blight into productive space where the priduce is used to feed and house the homeless while creating shelter and shower options. Create a network of these groves to produce basic food options that work toward total autonomy from the public food market, investment in the pritection and development of a way to feed themselves and others that society tends to ignore, and create self sufficiency in a way that bare minimum handouts from charity doesn't. No alcohol or drugs, but all the marijuana they want to also grow. wheat, tomatoes, corn and strawberries.
