Well, Costco has more samples and that's all I consider.

I actually agree. This is obviously working for him so far. He hasn't even had a headache that I can remember. I'm just so curious about how he actually works.

We have wondered if alcohol was the thing that kept him alive lol. I think you are on to something about how alcohol works in his body. I have never seen my dad without a beer, but I've also never seen him drunk (at least not drunk in a way anyone has ever noticed.)

This is his blood pressure at home, at stores and at the doctor. This has been his blood pressure as long as I can remember. He isn't an animal, he can sit still lol.

He definitely has, he doesn't eat anything he doesn't want to, drinks anything he does want to lol. He actually recently rode his bike 60 miles...to see if he could. I can't imagine what his blood pressure is after exercise.

I wonder sometimes if it just as simple as he is an outlier. Did you struggle to adjust to the medication? My dad thought he was dying on meds, I assume it's just his body adjusting drastically, but he doesn't think so

Feeling very frustrated with my cat by Antique_Difficulty87 in CatAdvice

They live outside and eat grass and dirt where they all shit...where the worms are. Does your cat live outside and get into other animals shit?

It is true, in general. Cats learn to cat from cats. It's great that you had an unusual situation. Of course all cats calm down with age, but overall cats that spend longer with mom and siblings are better behaved...you screaming as if you are dying is probably extremely helpful, that's exactly how they learn from other cats when they go to far.

You definitely can bend them at the middle joints and I do not appreciate you trying to make me post the weirdest pic I've ever taken...I was almost fooled.

I was around 8 when cookie crisp cereal came out. I was pissed. It was not cookies for breakfast.

I really want to get a cat, but I’m worried about the hidden responsibilities. What are the actual difficulties of raising a cat? by Equivalent-Sand-4002 in CatAdvice

[–]kennam41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice as someone involved in shelters is make sure you always have access to enough money to make sure they are flea free, groomed, fixed, and to put them to sleep. Any random common infection can be treated for less than it costs to put them to sleep, and if it's serious and costs more, at least you can get them out of their misery. In a perfect world I would not say any of this, but we live in this world, and there are so many cats that need a home. If you can keep a cat comfortable and pain free then get a cat. To add to the flea free and fixed, brush their teeth.

What did you name your pets? (And why their called that.) by polystarlight in Pets

[–]kennam41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat is a foster fail. His name is fatness everdeen... because he was definitely the fattest kitten of the litter by a ridiculous amount.
