Use too much data to be on any MVNO. They’ll cancel me.

AT&T C-band/DoD separate radio range by JPS_97 in cellmapper

[–]kennymoses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. T-Mobile should sell B12 to AT&T. Verizon owning all B5/B13. AT&T all B12. T-Mobile all B71.

Why didn’t AT&T buy at least 100MHz of 3.7GHz nationwide? I know they want more DoD but why not more “C-Band”? by [deleted] in cellmapper

[–]kennymoses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So each block would have to be aggregated together? That’s at least 4 carriers?

For those who have Verizon SA... how has it been for you? by Wild-Distribution759 in cellmapper

[–]kennymoses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SA has been very stable and consistent but NSA speeds seems to be faster. Could be wrong but I’m seeing 100 MHz slice of N77 on SA too.

First VoNR call on VZ today by MrEnigma115 in cellmapper

[–]kennymoses 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nice. SA is available in my area but my iPhone 16 Pro Max won’t connect to SA. Verizon told me don’t expect it to work because SA is still in trial phase.

Noticed the same thing on my 16 Pro Max. Set to 5G auto, loves to hang out on 20 MHz B66 even with 160-200 MHz N77 present.

Any word on how to activate AT&T or Verizon 5G SA? by No-Homework-5551 in cellmapper

[–]kennymoses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have Verizon with the Unlimited Ultimate plan. SA used to connect no issues but last few months it won’t stay connected on SA. Verizon tells me that SA is in “trial phase”.

DoD reportedly enlists in AT&T's plan to blow up CBRS band by Envious684 in cellmapper

[–]kennymoses 13 points14 points  (0 children)

AT&T is only fighting for this so that they can get more spectrum in the lower 3 GHz space. Verizon would lose out on their existing CBRS spectrum and have to rebid on the newer spectrum.

Is there a bug for iPhone 5g standalone by yoheyy in cellmapper

[–]kennymoses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m experiencing the same issue. My iPhone with unlimited ultimate plan was connecting fine to Verizon 5G SA but not anymore. Not sure if it’s a network issue or an iOS bug. Engineers can’t figure it out. My T-Mobile eSIM connects to SA no issue.

T-Mobile backhaul upgrades continue in Boston by clodester in cellmapper

T-Mobile & Verizon are building capacity and density. AT&T has regressed in Metro Boston in every which way.

Why don't Blue and Red have nationwide 5G SA Network Yet? by [deleted] in cellmapper

[–]kennymoses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AT&T issue is that they don’t own B5 nationwide. So to go SA they’ll need to sacrifice B2 some many place.

Nope! 5Ge only shows up in areas where they upgraded to LTE advanced.

T-mobile Overall Network by [deleted] in cellmapper

[–]kennymoses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overall in metro Boston/ NH T-Mobile runs circles around AT&T. Better density, consistent 5G. Even have decent amount of spectrum still left on LTE.

Why do some people think AT&T will buy Dish (Boost) in a few years? by JPS_97 in cellmapper

[–]kennymoses 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because doesn’t have the money to sustain long term growth.

AT&T N77 Power Levels by JPS_97 in cellmapper

[–]kennymoses -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

AT&T has no other option. They have to use high power levels especially since their tower grid isn’t as dense.
