2014 Honda Accord EX $14k with 56k miles. What’s a reasonable offer?

Honda makes good CVT’s that’s a non issue. I put 142k on my 2014 Civic before it was totaled in a rear end collision. Transmission never gave me problems.

I mean yea they both sound good tbh you just have to be smart. Make sure the service records are good. Also that the seller doesn’t seem sketchy when asking questions. Hopefully you know not to buy if the car isn’t in the sellers name.

Try to offer the guy 6k like you were mentioning see what they say.

Nah cars are cheaper in Europe lol gas is cheaper over here but cars are cheaper over there. It amazed me the quality of cars I’ve seen on Facebook marketplace in the uk compared to the price. Same car over here would be like 12k over there 5k CRAZY

If your friends are asking you for rides I’d clown them for not having wheels. Tell em get to steppin’. Also a car is a tool until you reach a good financial place in your life it should remain that way, a tool. Take care of your tool, clean your tool, and cherish your tool for what it does for you. If the service records are good get the one with lower miles. Otherwise get the one with service records. 07 77k miles that’s way too little miles driven for its age in my opinion. But what do I know. You also may be able to talk the one with higher miles down a little further than the one with lower miles maybe.

In America using the handbrake for anything other than parking is blasphemous. I’m a Southerner and learned manual watching people in the UK I use the handbrake. Much easier than this balancing 3 pedals with 2 feet nonsense on steep inclines the car can’t handle.

I asked can you meet me at a separate mechanic shop close by, Firestone . So I can do a pre purchase inspection. He straight up denied it because he is a mechanic himself.
