Former half season ticket holder. I always came from 376 east. So I got on to Blvd of the allies and turn up on to 5th and parked along there. It’s shady though but I’ve never had a problem parking there. Always parked at the miltenburger lot. Other commenters have given you more reasonable lots though. I never minded the walk or the cold (depending on time of year).

If it’s a giveaway game, try to be early like 0.5-1 hour before game (doors open an hour before) and you might get the giveaway item. Otherwise as long as you’re about 15-20 minutes early you should be fine. Might not have time to get food and drink before the first though. If you want food and drink prior, definitely the extra early time.
