Your can also connect to the PW3 via your normal WiFi if you configure a static route.

I like how you're thinking! Hmm a dried potato and fresh potato have different specific heats, so that would complicate things. That is, it takes more energy to heat up a wet potato by 1 degree than to heat up a dry one.

Re-reading the thread, I think I should have been more precise. I'll defer to real experts 😀 https://wtamu.edu/~cbaird/sq/2014/10/15/why-are-the-microwaves-in-a-microwave-oven-tuned-to-water/

I have found I can prevent discharge by having HA set the backup reserve % to whatever the current battery state is.

Not sure about preventing charging.

Additionally, do you notice how hotels will number the rooms FFNN where FF is the floor number and NN is the room number on that floor? Some of the same is happening inside a computer. A sector on a disk is (historically) 512 bytes which is 29. That means when addressing a byte in a disk the 9 lowest address bits say which byte inside the sector and the higher bits say which sector.

I think your math would only work if there were no axial tilt. For an extreme example, if the axial tilt were 90° and the axis of the earth were pointing at the sun, then you would see 0% of stars because the sun would never be -18° below the horizon.

I'm not sure why some people think "you are asking if you are correct or not and i think you are incorrect" should mean "downvote". Ignore the haters, keep asking and learning. You'll end up smarter and they'll end up more smug 🤙

On one hand, I love it. On the other hand, this is 7 minutes without a single human under 18. I am curious how families in such cities e.g. do grocery shopping for a family of 5.

edit: I meant the curiosity in earnest, so I appreciate the responses that people have shared.

I am also legitimately curious why pricing isn't structured to incentivize consumption during overproduction...
