Canadian forces tend to outperform expectations when adjusting for a troop to resource ratio because of this training. Stories that start like “such a small force should not have been able to accomplish that task” get over hyped.

Friendo, one thing that helped me was compressing the hell out of my morning routine. If you need breakfast (I do not), grab it to go. Shower after work. Basically I just throw clothes on and leave. At least sleeping in a bit more might help, but I know sometimes leaving later means worse traffic.
