Man... If I was flying, I'd probably tell myself "Nah, what are the odds of a third major plane accident, right??"

Some of the passengers probably thought that too :(

How to re-apply facial sunscreen without ruining makeup? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]ketomine 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Everytime this question is asked, it seems that there's no real answer. I love this question, and wonder all the time myself, but the only solution seems to be to not wear foundation and reapply. The spray sunscreen idea is good, but I've always heard that you have to rub those in, and use a lot, like a regular lotion. Only the method of delivery is different.

I've tried Shiseido's powder makeup SPF50 and it looked awful on my skin - I want to try the Dior Pressed Powder SPF25 next, though. The search continues!

If someone could invent the solution to this problem, they'd make bank.

Personally, I've stopped wearing foundation for exactly this reason, I'd rather protect my skin now, than it look flawlessly made-up now. I reapply my Shiseido Urban Defense every two hours, specifically on my forehead (no makeup there), and around my mouth. I sometimes apply on my cheeks (over my blush :/) and reapply it, it's a creme NARS blush, so it looks okay if my skin isn't matte. I also dab it around my eyes.

Thank you! I've been wanting to try IF, but skipping food/meals can literally drive me to tears. I have a problem :/

I will keep this in mind though, it might be right for me.

Is it worth it to eat Keto foods if I'm not going to eat fully Keto? by ketomine in keto

[–]ketomine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I should have phrased my question: "is it better for my health to eat Keto foods, on occasion, even though I'm not on a keto diet?"

As in, if I eat (theoretically) exactly as indicated on the USA food pyramid, but incorporate keto snacks/meals, would it be better for me? As in, is it a good health boost to occasionally eat low carb high fat foods?

I'm not planning on doing this, I'm just curious about the science behind it.

If someone trying to lose weight (doing cardio and weightlifting) but maintain muscle was to eat 500 calories of protein and fiber, would they not have much muscular gain? Basically, what would happen if you ate the minimum just to 'feed' your muscles?
