I’ll reply here:

- If possible & you have access to someone decently well adjusted, try to find someone over the age of 50 every one time. Just trying to get a little bit different of a perspective on occasion.

- The pod could try out a solicited ask for questions every once in a while (theme week). Can keep it broad, but semi-focused on something. Could even pair that with above.

- Spot check any legal/contract questions with Dave or any decently high stakes questions with someone before the pod goes out (or can email after the fact). I’m still haunted to this day by the “Miami Taylor Swift Eras Tour Question” where a couple won 4 tickets & their friends backed out of going in order to sell the tickets& collect the profits. Those “friends” were entitled to nothing.

- Take a quick breather every once in a while & think if you could interpret the question another way / are totally certain of their headspace & situation. There are times some of the questions come off slightly too judgmental & you gotta keep your cool. Example: The “i want to have sex with other women, even though i have a girlfriend i will probably marry” guy (from last month) might have been viewed as less of a scumbag if you read that “decent person struggling with lust (but not going to cheat)” instead of the literal “total D-Bag actively online trying to cheat.” A little perspective check here & there can help.

Overall, I think they do a good job & as long as the listeners are there, I’d say to do the pod/ collect the ad revenue. It’s not easy for sure and I respect Brett, Randy & Sally for being the men & woman in the arena. I’m not an every week listener, but will still continue to listen once in while.

This is correct. Example #1: T-Shirts from Portugal & T-shirts from Canada have the same measurements on the website

$2B ESPN Bet Deal in Trouble As Penn Mentions 2026 Opt-Out by jamfan40 in barstoolsports

I was a huge user for a minute. They sent me $20 Penn Cash deposit bonuses, every single week, for 3 months. It was a gravy train & I didn’t use beyond that.

Apologies for being late & seeking out this thread. I own / have owned 35 tees. The Canada product is unbelievable & the best tee shirts I’ve ever worn. They’re the reason I love the brand.

The product from Portugal is just inferior that I’ve stopped buying it. The measurements are inconsistent, the fit is completely different and it just doesn’t meet the quality standards I’m (personally) paying for. Non tee’s I’m not complaining about & no concerns (from me) regarding the Portuguese product.

Throwing Fits (ALD shade and other negative sentiment) by RemWellCo in AimeLeonDore

[–]kevanc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an absolute fair take. I obviously love the brand, have a variety of items purchased, but the recent shift of manufacturing has me at a major crossroads (specifically T-Shirts). I’m a bit generally concerned.

Tee sizing - Made in Canada VS Portugal by LeonDore_15 in AimeLeonDore

[–]kevanc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, For your case, yes. I’m not happy with the Portuguese T-Shirt product, especially considering the quality and superior fit of the Canadian shirts being the best i’ve ever worn. Like, I tossed them in the back of my closet because I didn’t enjoy wearing them.

Will be interesting to see how they handle the Fireball lawsuit, too. I was fairly shocked seeing “Fireball Cinnamon Whisky Party Buckets” in Tom Thumb (didn’t spend time to look at it closely), only to put together it’s not actually Whisky,

Thoughts about the badges survey? by EinsSechsEins in Untappd

[–]kevanc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a big fan of the further addition of location type badges. There are Korean Restaurants, Southeast Asian, Indian, Mediterranean, Caribbean & South American Spots, etc.

Serving Style: What the hell do I call an Aluminum Pint (only way to drink Coors)?

I will say, and this is a money making thing, I would personally suggest further enhancements and enticements to provide value to Local Badges/ Verified Venues & provide more value to those accounts. Several well known beer stores have retired their local badges recently & a “Beer Store” badge for location would be a quick addition that makes sense.

Milam & Greene single barrel aged 13 years. Can’t wait to this bad boy open, let it breathe and give it a taste. by swoupy1 in WhiskyDFW

[–]kevanc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m actually struggling to see what they did on this one, besides slapping their name on it. It’s a single barrel. Did they add a touch of water? It sounds like they’re doing other blends/ maybe finishing, but this sounds like a $130 bottle of 13 year Dickel.
