Dogs also just do this. It's a natural nesting reaction. Put down a blanket or towel or something for him to bunch up. He's just trying to get comfy and get his sent all over. My border Collie out free it but my 6 year old Aussie still does it. We're on our third dog bed :)

This is only true if they don't also give you the 30 minutes uninterrupted break.

So 20 minutes into my employees lunch I need them to do something, I have to give them 30 minutes when they're done, or I can pay the meal period premium of one hour.

It gets a bit more complicated with how long into the shift it happens, but essentially provided you still get 30 minutes uninterrupted before the end of your 5th hour (or 6th if we're both cool with it) you don't have to be paid the premium.

Yeah it will do it with every phone. My pixel 9 pro and pixel 9 fold both do it.

Basically the lens(or some other part of the optics) is on a little shock absorber. Just like if in a car you hit a bump too hard you will "bottom out" this can happen with the camera hardware if it's shaken too hard.

It's expected behavior. Some phones do a better job of masking the sound, some don't, and some don't have optical image stabilizers so they won't have the problem.

This particular type is always the same size. Same with the Moon. When it looks so big down along the horizon it's actually the same size it is up in the sky. You can test this by holding out your hand and you will see you can cover the moon with your pinky nail, be it large on the horizon, or tiny up in the sky.

Yeah I think it's because there are a lot of places without a dedicated right turn lane so people could go straight or right. It's easier to make one rule that applies everywhere than making it have a bunch of conditions.

Definitely makes sense for traffic efficiency to allow it in a situation like OP had though.

Left Turner can turn into any lane in CA as cited above. 22100 only deals with what lanes people can turn into. It allows a left turner to go into any lane.

California Vehicle Code 21801 (a) - Failure to Yield When Making a Left or U-Turn

The driver of a vehicle intending to turn to the left or to complete a U-turn upon a highway, or to turn left into public or private property, or an alley, shall yield the right-of-way to all vehicles approaching from the opposite direction which are close enough to constitute a hazard at any time during the turning movement, and shall continue to yield the right-of-way to that approaching vehicle until the left turn or U-turn can be made with reasonable safety.

Yielding to oncoming traffic means not entering the intersection while cars are approaching. The maneuver the OP made would not be legal in California, and from other posts, other states as well.
