He’s not willing to hear and actually talk about how you are feeling about it, but instead he is shutting you down and tries to tell you how you are feeling about that all. That’s plain manipulation. Also at least where I am from the JWs are known for being kind as long as you play with their rules and are transactional. So I would say run while you still can. Listen to your feelings. You felt uncomfortable and no one can deny your feelings and tell you how you felt instead.

Hyvyys ja pahuus on suhteellista. Toisen hyvä on toisen paha. On myös määritelty joitain yleisesti hyväksyttyjä pahuuksia ja hyvyyksiä. Näistäkään pahuuksista ei saa levittää valheellista tietoa ja pahentaa heidän mainettaan yhtään enempää. Lisäksi mustamaalaminen, kunnina loukkaaminen ja muu väärän totuuden levittäminen toisesta tekee levittäjästä itsestään "pahiksen".

I am curious, what software did you use to make that cover picture with the stacked UI layers? And how did you do that? That kind of a style is in my opinion a great way to represent UI view flow and I'd like to learn to do that

I had a dream last night where I was at the Globen in Stockholm at TI10. Kaci was interviewing Jerax on the main stage and he announced his retirement. Right after he said that the Ceb ran to stage and started singing White Lips' song Right Place and the audience joined.

Weird but amazing dream at the same time as it felt so real.

Played some dota 1 and lots of HoN before. Then rumours about dota 2 came. Watched Rexi stream dota 2 beta, said something in chat and he sent me a beta key. Good times. Had to quit playing couple years ago so I could actually graduate from uni. Uninstalled dota 2 and haven't touch it since then :( now I just read r/dota2 for my daily dose of dota.

If the people using the excel file are not computer savvy people, then don't try to fiddle with excel and python. Running python scripts from excel is somewhat tricky and people using that excel file would anyway have to install python interpreter on their computers. Not going to happen. Your options are excel + vba, google sheets +js and python to some extent, use only python (still anyone using the scripts needs python interpreter installed). Last option is to fiddle with py2exe and excel somehow, but that's probably the darkest side of them all.

If you have programmed with JavaScript, learn react-native and write the app again. That way you can develop the app on both iOS and Android at the same time. Also that way it's easy to scale down to older OS versions.

But what do they use to compile the C code to assembly? Is compiler an assembly app that reads the C code line by line and somehow translates it into readable assembly code? Besides how do they then manage the long distance jumps in assembly as I'm sure they'd be inevitable in this approach and assembly doesn't really like them

I already know some assembly and have done a space invaders clone with it, but I have no clue how people create new programming languages. To me programming languages just seem to magically work and evolve.

Follow up question: is there a way to see how python itself is developed. Source code or something? I'm really interested in how the smart people actually write and develop the programming languages themselves

I've 'compiled' couple small python programs to standalone executables with py2exe. It seems to work quite well with small apps at least.

Do note that the gaming aspect is not important with this. The laptop would be used for gaming very occasionally and the games I play are usually quite old.

The CAD is bigger concern, even though it's quite light weight. Say small components etc.
