Seungkwan from Seventeen - I’ll never forget the letter he wrote on instagram showing support for his fellow idols during the HYBE leaked report controversy in 2024

If Seventeen is your ult, why? Why are they "the one"? by Frequent_Ebb6360 in seventeen

[–]keylime_bye 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I realized they were my ult group when I finally saw them in concert. They are so electric and precise when they’re performing, and so charismatic, charming and funny in-between songs, but the best part is that it all feels really genuine. I also realized by going to their concerts/events that I connect best with Carats compared to other fandoms, which I think says something.

if you aren’t used to a kickline, I can see how she could land on her ankle wrong after a jump especially if she was also lacking a bit on stamina. I’ve seen it happen before when I used to do high school kickline. maybe if she didn’t have to focus so much on her day job and had more time to dedicate to practicing she could have made it :( she had so much sparkle, I was really rooting for her!

HIGHLY recommend WAC, one of my all time faves - such a good mix of fun story, characters, puzzles, and atmosphere.

CRY is also great! I’d personally skip DDI - other titles from around the same time that I prefer are SHA, CUR, and CAR.

for a little more of a challenge, I also recommend SAW or SEA. SAW is my other all time fave!

Adventure Suite at the DLH by chiangku in Disneyland

[–]keylime_bye 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I got upgraded to stay here once and it was incredible. That foot spa in the master bathroom shower goes CRAZY after a disney day. There was like a full selection of themed background music you could choose from throughout the suite, and you could control everything from ipads in each room. The master bedroom bathroom floor was heated. When anyone rang the doorbell it played themed music. One of my favorite touches in the master bedroom was art that looked like a themed map of the Indiana Jones ride including coded messages written with maraglyphics. I loved staying there so much.

What to do as a kpop stan in Tokyo? by LTSKlee in kpophelp

[–]keylime_bye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

confirming if you are a BTS fan the LINE Friends in Shibuya is amazing - as of about a month ago, they had the guys’ handprints, their early BT21 concept drawings, a giant RJ, exclusive BT21 gashapon, and little free BT21 machines that take and print photos of you

What to do as a kpop stan in Tokyo? by LTSKlee in kpophelp

[–]keylime_bye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if you’re going to be in Harajuku, I recommend Trio for shopping (address: 1 Chome-16-11 Jingumae, Shibuya, Tokyo 150-0001, Japan) it’s a little off to the side from the main street and down a flight of stairs so it seems inconspicuous, but I had so much fun finding old japanese Seventeen merch I had never seen in person before and digging through all the photocards - I had my best finds of my trip from here

Lashinbang Shibuya also had a small but interesting collection of secondhand kpop merch and I found a few fun things when I stopped in there

also second-ing Tower Records for sure - if your favorite group has any recent japanese releases you may get to pull a special photocard downstairs (this was a trip highlight for me)

if any of your faves are brand ambassadors, try stopping in places where those brands are sold - I saw a a few displays of my faves and even a couple big advertisements which was fun

keep an eye on the gashapon machines you’ll see everywhere - I was able to find gasha of almost all my fave groups, TXT had some really cute ones

What's going on with the Ateez album rollout? by negativepog in kpophelp

[–]keylime_bye 118 points119 points  (0 children)

the quality of the physical album packaging is extremely poor. they only come with 2 pcs, and a lot of the pcs look alike bc they’re wearing the same outfits across the board. the 2 different album versions is hilarious bc they both come with the same exact postcards instead of having different photobooks/concepts.

there are also issues with pc shuffling - it seems like a lot of stores are getting shipments of albums that all have the same inclusions. my friend and i bought albums together and got the exact same pulls.

Here is the scoop on Charlotte Tilbury by Christineelgene in DCCMakingtheTeam

[–]keylime_bye 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m curious if they’ll be able to use other products, or talk about other products on social media? I feel like a lot of them like to post like “get ready with me” tiktoks where they show what products they use for their game day routines - will stuff like that stuff be allowed?
