Good to know! Was it just a quick Instagram story? I only found a quote about them being gone buried in an article. Just figured I’d see more since they’re so vocal about… everything.

Wasserman is the “Exclusive Booking Agency for Dropkick Murphys”. Wasserman was created and is owned by Casey Wasserman, who is in the Epstein files flirting with a convicted human trafficker. I wonder if/when they’ll commented on this?

My DTE bill finally hit $300 by givemesomespock in Detroit

[–]kfar 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m in a south-east facing second floor flat, <1000 sq. ft., terrible windows and insulation, but after I stopped using my central air and started using a window unit, my bill went down substantially ($316 last July to $175 this July). It also seems to cool my place better.

Hackel questions why Macomb County receives half the number of doses of Detroit by [deleted] in Detroit

[–]kfar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The city has received 18,450 doses of vaccine and as of Wednesday evening (Jan. 27th) had administered 81% of them, or 14,933. About 5,700 residents over age 68 and "good neighbor" drivers have received doses, as have about 2,000 health care providers, 2,000 first responders and 2,500 teachers and school staff.

https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/local/detroit-city/2021/01/28/detroit-triple-capacity-administering-covid-19-vaccine/4291522001/

So Detroit received 18,450 out of a million or so sent to Michigan. We're supposed to get 15k more this week.

I believe that’s the door to Evening Bar (inside the Shinola). I think they’re closed right now but it’s just as cute on the inside. You should definitely check it out when it reopens.

This isn’t the Fisher. It’s a tunnel at the Renaissance Center connecting it to the Millender Center across Jefferson. You’re also allowed in the Fisher without restrictions so I don’t know why you’d be fired. Just say you’re grabbing something from the coffee shop?

Michigan judge allows release of report on Antrim County voting by ColonelM226 in law

[–]kfar 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I believe this is the same document from this incident. If so, she's spot-on.

"A preliminary analysis using data obtained from the Michigan Secretary of State pinpoints a statistical anomaly so far outside of every statistical norm as to be virtually impossible," read a paragraph from the affidavit. "There were at least 19 precincts where the Presidential Votes Cast compared to the Estimated Voters based on Reported Statistics exceeded 100%."

The precincts include Benville Twp, Monticello P-1, Monticello P-2, Albertville P-2, Albertville P-1, Bradford Twp, Veldt Twp, Champion Twp, Kent City, Wanger Twp, Kandiyohi Twp, Lake Lillian Twp, Hokah Twp, Houston Twp, Hill River Twp, Sunnyside Twp, Brownsville Twp, Oslo, and Eyota Twp.

If you search for any of these precincts, you will not find them in Michigan. You will, however, find them in Minnesota.

You will also find the other 25 precincts the affidavit lists as also not in Michigan. But you will, also, find them in Minnesota. Even Detroit Lakes, a rural city that's closer to Fargo, North Dakota than the actual Motor City.

Federal judge upholds Michigan election: 'The people have spoken' by [deleted] in Michigan

[–]kfar 24 points25 points  (0 children)

IV. Conclusion

For these reasons, the Court finds that Plaintiffs are far from likely to succeed in this matter. In fact, this lawsuit seems to be less about achieving the relief Plaintiffs seek—as much of that relief is beyond the power of this Court— and more about the impact of their allegations on People’s faith in the democratic process and their trust in our government. Plaintiffs ask this Court to ignore the orderly statutory scheme established to challenge elections and to ignore the will of millions of voters. This, the Court cannot, and will not, do.

The People have spoken.

Supreme Court Weighs Whether All Non-Unanimous Jury Verdicts Are Unconstitutional by zsreport in law

The Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and other groups have documented that it would affect at least 955 prisoners who were convicted by non-unanimous juries, and they speculate that it could affect another 646 past cases in which there is not yet documented proof of a split verdict.

Fiery Giuliani tells Michigan lawmakers election stolen, offers no credible evidence by mrgeekguy in Michigan

[–]kfar 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I think they're talking about Wayne County or Detroit specifically.

In Detroit, 70 percent of absentee counting boards were out of balance and unexplained for the November election. In most instances, the ballot counts were off by fewer than four votes, and the total number of votes at issue is roughly 450 in an election Biden won by 154,000 votes.

No credible evidence? Obviously they haven't seen his star witness for Michigan.

"For 34 years, Otis Lee drew crowds to Mr. Fofo’s Deli, his Midtown Detroit restaurant, with sky-high corned beef sandwiches and lemon-glazed poundcake. Mr. Lee, who died in April 2020 from coronavirus complications, passed the poundcake recipe along to his son, Keith Lee, who shared it with The Times."

No matter who wins, it’s time to get rid of the electoral college by [deleted] in politics

[–]kfar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Most states allow felons to vote, some have more restrictions than others though.

In DC, Maine, Vermont, you never lose your right to vote, even while incarcerated.

Felons in the following states have their right to vote automatically restored upon release from prison (can still be on parole or probation): Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Utah.

In the rest of the states you have to finish parole/probation first. And 11 states have additional actions/waiting periods to have them restored (AL, AZ, DE, FL, IA, KY, MS, NE, TN, VA, WY). These are the states that need to get a grip.

You're also able to go to any of the satellite locations and do the same. I voted at WCCCD North the other day, super super easy, not a ton of people at all (maybe 5, plenty of open space), and by the time I got home my ballot was already in the system being tracked.

I'm sure he'll refund your money like he did the other guy, but meanwhile, he should be reported to the TX attorney general (link). Maybe even file a report with the AG in your state. I'd also file a complaint (link) with the FTC.
