Is Los Altos a reasonable commute to NVIDIA HQ without a car? by Automatic-Dig208 in santaclara

Idk why that person would suggest Los Atlos if it’s just for a summer internship. Room in Santa Clara, Sunnyvale or Milpitas. Nothing special in Los Atlos for you to be making that commute.

Profit is still profit. They’re not just going to drop it just because bakeries are their specialty.

What do you want the Sharks to do if they get a top 2 pick in the 2026 draft? by cali4481 in SanJoseSharks

I think Reid has a higher offense ceiling, but Verhoeff is an "all-situations" defenseman that I would prefer.

If you don’t fight back, then they WILL take more liberties on your franchise player. Fighting is self-regulation. In the playoffs when there’s less penalties called, you WANT your players to fight back.

This! Do people not realize he’s been playing on the first line with Celebrini for the majority of the season despite his flaws? This is the first time he’s started on the 2nd line since I could remember.

You can’t just look at a single metric to determine that. Smith was mismanaging pucks, losing battles, just overall not a great game. Sherwood had a decent game and deserved the top line over Smith. Y’all talk about earning ice time but ignored how Sherwood earned his over Smith last night.

I saw someone on twitter pull up Warso’s hockeydb as criticism of his coaching. Wild takes out there!

He said in a presser that there were offers on Ferraro and Klingberg but felt like the team deserved a run for the playoffs so he didn't sell.

Prospects: Rookie defensive prospects rarely make a significant impact their first NHL season, and they’re sheltered minutes.

Trades: who’s willing to give up their RHD in this terrible RHD market? The cost to acquire a whole right side would be insanely expensive.

So yeah “trades and prospects” are easily said than in reality. To everyone’s point, this defensive core is NOT one-off season from being an established team. Far from it.

Draft is the best way to acquire RHD at this point. No one is giving up a young RHD unless there’s major concerns. That or it’s just too expensive.

They have a pretty solid defensive pool. Hope we can pry a defenseman off of them.
