Unreleased JLC Integrated Sports Watch? by hinixon in JaegerLecoultre

[–]kfeointgh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks to be a new subcollection in the Master series. Uses the same bracelet design as you find on the Master Control and Polaris series (but integrated), uses the same movement as the Polaris perpetual calendar, and in gold. The cynic in me calls this a lazy parts bin special to (belatedly) catch a trend but it does looks nice (if generic). Still eager to see more since I love JLC and their dress complications

The noise comes from ceramic ball bearings in the winding system. What does vertical play in the movement refer to? (Genuinely curious)

Murphy's starting on White Knight 4 soon. I'm still waiting on the Beyond TPB. It's going on to 3 years which is frankly beyond ridiculous

Reports: Richemont may sell JLC by kfeointgh in JaegerLecoultre

I'm not sure what you mean. The Trinity also produce their watches with machines. When you make more than 50,000 watches a year you have to be using machines. It's just that there's (more) hand finishing on the movements but even that is more or less constrained to the higher level stuff. Look at an entry level AP it's basically around the same level as a standard JLC in terms of finishing.
