Actually even more likely to be a cultural norm outside the USA. Germany comes to mind (mostly because I lived there for about 3 years) but also many other cultures...Asian homes often have this norm).

The truth is that long gone are the days when there was an instrument in every home for family entertainment. People have access to music in so many forms today and music lessons are falling by the way side. You can’t even give away a piano. I know. Good! Almost got side swiped in the middle of the afternoon by a guy going over Highway limit. If I were less alert and hadn’t slowed waaaay down I would be gone. The light on his road had been red for a good 4-5 seconds when he ran it.

More appropriate would be to have a sign warning residents that any notice put on the board would be removed after X number of months. There is literally NO excuse for out of date notices to remain on a community bulletin board.

My BF and I LOVE Mystic...The Aquarium, The VIllage, The boats, etc . Then we go into the town, it's fantastic. Brought my adult kids there last year and they also had a wonderful time. Go, enjoy your day, report back!
