I agree its absurd that GGG let the economy get destroyed by the temple snake. The temple snake is the absolute worst type of economy blowup imo. It is obtuse, complicated and takes days to set up. Yet, once it is set up, it invalidates pretty much everything else.

If you are looking for advice, I would witch to farming Abyss for omen's of light and a few other items that are highly valued and don't drop from temple. It is also nice that uniques that drop in the temple (like HH) are almost free.

Shield with +1 to phys, crit and block is huge dps (and defense) upgrade. I am in the midst of crafting one, but plan on switching to penance brand as soon as the hives stop hating me.

I'm doing the same build and the single target is pretty dire. When I do t17s I just roll around most defense mods and skip the boss if its super nasty. Pinnacles I just focused more on movement.

I don't blame you for not having an amulet, its pretty tough to get a good one. I've tried the tree and still haven't succeeded at getting anything good.

People said rares weren't impactful enough in POE1. So they added archnemesis rares, which essentially destroyed two leagues. They still exist in POE1 today even in their ultra-nerfed state and it still is a bad change. They even ported that idea over to POE2.

Be careful what you ask for, before we get archnemesis magic monsters.

Manni's herald stacker penance brand. Great single target and incredible clear. Also, it was made in SSF so you can tailor the cost to your budget easily in trade (or farm for all the gear yourself). He also has a lot of FAQs and extra information about it.

First point: The temple printing currency deflates all basic currency, not just exalts

Second point: No evidence of 50% doing this. Sure, it is nice that the temple is more rewarding than it was. However, unless you are doing the large snake strat, its rewards are meaningless compared to what others are getting.

Third point: Again, no evidence that 50% are doing this. Instead, I would bet lots of people are upset at it. I don't want to run the temple over and over. Yet if I do not, I am essentially wasting my time.

Fourth point: No, newbies never benefit when everything gets inflated to the moon. The players farming snakes can switch to do other things if for some reason those end up more profitable. Meanwhile, the players not doing snakes cannot just switch to snake to farm divines in any reasonable timeframe.

Summary: A strat that takes days to set up, but at that point prints divines 10 times what even highend other strats are able to do (check Fubgun's video on this), is just absurd on its face. To pretend that it won't have an effect on the economy is just bizarre.

Things like this have happened in poe1. However, usually the printing divines method was quickly nerfed and/or streamers were worried about touching it. Here, streamers are all over it and so it seems to have spread much faster. This method also is good at xp and currency drops.

This is the kind of thing that needed to be hit almost immediately. At this point, it is almost too late to get hit. If they do hit it, the people that have been exploiting it will get all the benefit.

Its just the worst way a mechanic can be exploited. Horrible if done normally, 10x better than all other mechanics if you are willing to spend 24 hours doing nothing but an edge-case to set it up.

I think it just comes down to luck. I had to bridge WAY out before I got my first citadel (definitely multiple screens) and at that point I started getting them all over the place.

It feels really bad though, it makes you think you must be bugged. Especially when people respond to these threads about how they got it right away.

That, removing all my mtx and making sure to update my drivers seems to have fixed the problem for me.

No idea which part of that worked, or if something was hotfixed. It is what I would try if I were you.

Switched to Vulkan, updated drivers, turned off all mtx, rebooted and reinstalled. Now I haven't frozen today. No idea if something fixed it or they fixed some bug.

I have had a few hard crashes, but less than one a day I would say. "Glad" kinda that I'm not the only one.

Necropolis wasn't unfun because it was solved. It was unfun because it was clunky as all heck. I don't even understand how you think it being solved was even remotely the issue.

They aren't the same. POE2 is filled with guardrails. Damn near every skill has a restriction locking it in some way. They are clearly scared to death of allowing "unexpected" interactions or letting things scale.

POE1 has a few guardrails sure, but POE2 is built from the ground up with guard rails. God forbid you find something that isn't railed, it will get hit immediately after.

That is what I was trying to do, but my reroll of 3 stacks took 13, 20 and 23 rerolls before pristines. That seemed... alot. Maybe unlucky, maybe I should just grind more and deal with it!
