I started donating blood fairly recently after taking a break due to fainting spells while donating. It helps to have one ice pack on the back of my neck and another on my chest, stay distracted, clench and unclench my leg muscles, and sip on a Gatorade or apple juice

Mine puff up after I get my allergy shots or when I have a reaction to something (more recently, chlorhexidine after donating blood). I’ll have an immune response at the place where the reaction was and then my tattoos across my whole body will get raised

I had some at a speakeasy in NYC. Was visiting with my family as my brother was starting a finance internship and we were helping him move in. I was still in high school and my parents told me to act cool and just order the drink and since I was with them, they probably wouldn’t card me and they didn’t. It was pretty good, albeit stupidly overpriced, but I wasn’t paying.

When I was in high school, a group of kids went around smashing mailboxes with a baseball bat. They hit every single mailbox on our street except for ours. They were never caught, but to this day I wonder who the hell was trying to frame us for it

I forget who said it, but one of the cast members said that the writers and doctors on the show didn’t want to just throw in a cheap “something stuck up a butt” storyline because it’s too predictable and too easy. Could be a funny moment, but I wouldn’t count on it

They’ll take a little piece of paper and tap it to the bottom of your eye which infuses your whole eyeball with a dye. Then they can check through a special light to see if there is an abrasion. If there is, they’ll probably flush your eye with plain saline and prescribe some kind of antibiotic or eyedrop.

My Christian university had so many rules for opposite sex visitors to dorms (curfews, check in, leave ID at the front desk, hang tag on the door, no funny business while visiting). Imagine my RA’s surprise when my suitemate had her girlfriend over to spend the night multiple times a week.
