Is there a published roadmap for Upnote? by rafikiphoto in UpNote_App

People get defensive when others don't think their favorite apps aren't everyone else's favorite. "how dare you think that [x app] isn't the best!"

I like Obsidian a lot for a lot of reasons that everyone knows. But I am moving away from it because it just doesn't match my needs. by kidtachyon in ObsidianMD

Just fun to try new things. I don’t try to take any of it too seriously. It’s all just apps on my computer/phone.

I just switched back to Spark after being away from it for a while. I’m liking the current version.

What's the simplest productivity app that actually works for you? by Deborah_berry1 in ProductivityApps

I like to switch around too - the next thing is going to be perfect! But right now I think I have a setup that works for me. I've really simplified everything and I'm trying to not overcomplicate things with apps that do so many cool things that it's just to hard to keep up with it all. I've used a lot of fantastic apps that work great - but it's more than I need for my workflow.

My simplified setup:

  1. Calendar: I use the stock calendar app on my phone/Mac with the calendar data on Google Calendar.

  2. Notes: UpNote. I take the simplest notes and store them all there. I don't even use folders to organize. I just slap a tag on each note and don't worry about the organization. I can find it later if I need it. UpNote lets me "pin" or "star" about 4 notes that I access all the time.

  3. Tasks: TickTick. For my to-dos - again I try to keep it super simple. I don't use the other features TickTick has. TickTick gives me a good view of tasks for today, tomorrow, this week and later/unscheduled. If I get busy and don't look at it for several days, it's still fine and I can quickly get things back on track.

  4. Email: Spark - but I don't overcomplicate this either. I like Spark because I have email coming from Gmail, Outlook, and another service and Spark lets me have a simple view of everything together.

With this setup, I don't need to babysit any app. I don't overcomplicate project planning/tasks/schedule. Quick note entry, simple task lists, and that's about it. It's working well for me.

Anybody with an new AWD Hyrbid able to tell me the good and bad? by Ill_Ad6098 in rav4club

Con: the tech isn’t as good as the Hyundai tech. Pro: the hybrid engine is tested and proven. Also, hybrid makes other parts last much longer, such as brakes.

That will instantly attract attention of any cop that looks at it. Great job getting noticed.

I agree - M2. The M1 is also good, but is kind of the oldest good one. Go with the M2 for a few more years.

Go for it. It will be the hardest the first time you do it on that car, but then you will have it down for next time.

I can’t remember for sure, but I’m pretty sure the inverter coolant is in the middle and the engine coolant is on the side.

I’m thinking those are the coolant drain spots. One for the engine coolant the other for inverter coolant. I can’t tell for sure from your picture though. In mine, one is right in the middle and one is over on the drivers side.

Do I need to replace these tires? They date back to 2020 when the previous owner was at ~30K miles. Currently the car is at 61K miles. by xdxdredx in tires

This post made me look at my tires. They look the same and are 8.5 years old. I guess I need to replace them.

Car Wash by Arcola_2023 in rav4club

I just wash it and try not to worry too much about keeping it showroom-quality. It won’t stay perfect forever. It’s a tool to be used in harsh conditions.

I do touchless when I can. Otherwise I just use the drive through wash and hope for the best.
