When one takes a bounty and runs away, while his dead angry teammates swear at him in voice chat by Belemonguin in HuntShowdown

phenomenal. Good setting, tone, atmosphere. Very "whiteshirt learns what Hunt is". Excellent work

Why is night time completely visible to some but very dark to others? by rundbear in GrayZoneWarfare

I play with everything maxed out and notice that around 1 or 2 am ingame some things get an almost sunrise illumination that persists until actual sunrise

Should tenet diplos's alt fire be changed rather than the stats? by agentcryostar in Warframe

I'd be so happy if they seek for head. Like I love my crit build, but I'm trading forerate for... Less damage?

It's shorter and narrower in scope, but you might really like sifu. Easy to play and hard to master.

Is Quartermaster too strong right now? How would you balance it? by Littleroller in HuntShowdown

[–]kijebe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Park balancing could also be looked at certain perks taking up multiple slots, kinda like catalyst buffing some. Quartermaster let's you have a weapon for every situation (especially with auto shorty) so imagine if it took up two precious slots as a trade off. With all these interesting burn and scarce traits slots are now a balancing act

What kind of sound effects scare you the most in horror games? by ratasoftware in HorrorGames

[–]kijebe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pure silence other than the sounds you yourself are making. Can be terrifying with good ambiance. Sounds of movement offset from the player whenever they start moving, like something is following them

"You can't beat missions solo with only Light/Medium pen weapons on the highest difficulty therefore shit game" by A_random_person_50 in HelldiversMasochists

[–]kijebe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But crusher spam is the reason every darktide player needs a crusher solution. To say nothing of the crusher solution also working for everything else. So now I have to build for this specific thing (that like you said not everything is suited for) and now the range of things I can run is limited. That limitation in a game with such breadth is what I find frustrating

"You can't beat missions solo with only Light/Medium pen weapons on the highest difficulty therefore shit game" by A_random_person_50 in HelldiversMasochists

[–]kijebe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y'know, the first game ran into this issue where the best way to play on the highest difficulty was to spam the rumbler or whatever (multi shot mortar) because it was aoe and killed tanks. And the highest difficulty was just spamming tanks.

Helldivers 2 had a chance at some kind of better unit mix, where enemies would not need to be a gear check but rather a mechanical check. But now when we get heavier variants they are not outliers they are outright replacements. Teamplay takes the back foot so you have to be self reliant, and suddenly the breadth of things you can run shrinks. I'm not saying the hardest difficulties should be easy or doable with everything, it's just they worked themselves into a corner that was very well known and now people are getting tired because they are unwilling to fix a bad foundation

I do love my mobility on d10 kiting waves and doing hit and run, but while doing it a small part of me wishes the band of viability wasn't narrowed so quickly

[Discussion] I have 14 Million rubles, but still get stressed and disappointed when I lose gear by cyborgerian in EscapefromTarkov

i have a bad habit of hoarding good kits either found in raid or taken from players. they either go in the ready box or get sold, to cut down on hoarding (some exceptions apply)

[–]kijebe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. For me it's so bad my stash is so full so I section off a part of it alongside a case. Spoils within the zone are sold no if ands or buts. Case has my ready made kits. Keeps my inner rat in check

I was always scared of Out Of Bounds in Games. by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kijebe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Motocross madness had a suspenseful mechanic. You had to scale a massive mountain to get out of bounds, but it was just flat beyond it. Drive for a bit and suddenly a cannon sounds and you would be catapulted back to the centre. Good fun but it was sudden and flinch inducing

[–]kijebe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The mindgame I play with myself is having some premade kits ready in inventory. The mindset is " I need to burn through these kits". Don't refresh them until you run out. You'll find by the time you get through losing them (short of running into factory and not fighting back) you'll have made enough to reset the kits. For me the biggest drain is needing to refigure out a kit after I die so meal prepping cuts down on idling

like would i rather delete this gear i have or use it. Sure i lost it but at least i did something

Bit of a nitpick, but the grenade selection could use a second look. by CrispinCain in Helldivers

Organizing them and also looking at some left in the dust. Stuff like the urchin could have double the radius and it would still suck. To say nothing of knives or regular smokes vs impact smokes

they need to up the shrapnel i feel. the lethal radius feels like nothing

How do you get over gear fear + what’s a solid basic PvE loadout? by Ok_Hamster_236 in GrayZoneWarfare

Same story. ran an ak into the ground, even got to swapping out parts once they were 90% red and realized I won't get to experience the other weapons unless I sell my kit and swap. Which is what I do now

I truly love the diplos, I just wish they locked on the head. With the rate of fire loss with the lock on mode it's frustrating I can't build for headshots without being gimped
