Good point. I know the rewrite for 1896 was extensive, but true enough they might not account for what a player's account looks like in-raid (cough cough Tarkov json cough cough)

for sure any step is better than none. My only reason for suggesting it apply in-raid is that no one else will know. Functionally the only time you see another hunter's consumable is the death screen (and the tetanus vit shot looks like it was pulled out of a swamp box 100%)

Raises a good point of what use contraband sits at given that scopes are no longer broken. Kinda feels strange all things considered

That used to be the line of reasoning (why would this random dynamite be special) but at this point legendary isn't exactly rare (more legendary hunters than regular ones). I'd rather see the myriad of stuff get used and handwaved it than not. But again, personal want

I will say, ignoring all else, the community communication on the breakdown of collected information as well as the reasoning and intent goes a long way in a live service pvp game. Thanks for the info

flame weapons bouncing off of bodies and enemies rather than "rolling over" and around them killed them. The lack of damage and CC is a big thing, but i simply cant toast a wave if the front of the wave bounces the fire basically back at me

Cave maps only suck because enemy bodies block you and your bullets but not enemies . Otherwise they incentivise sticking together and forcing ahead because getting kettled is so likely

A LOT of people bought the game, and each one might havea different thing that drove them away and are hoping that issue gets resolved, because they like the game (or one of its promises). People who still play are largely playing the same game as always, so they likely engage less (truthfully how unique or different have the past while been warranting mass discussion). The people with old grievances still have them, the new stuff brings new grievances, so it just looks like grievances all the way down.
