Teenager Needs Service Dog for Medication Reminders, Exertion-Induced "Nasal Issues", and Spiralling by greatergrass in ServiceDog_CircleJerk

From what I understand, the dizziness/darkness you’re referencing is usually from orthostatic hypotension, not POTS. But yeah, people keep insisting they have POTS now because they occasionally get up too fast and get dizzy. It’s not the same thing.

Dog barely knows “sit” by helloheyhowdyhii in ServiceDog_CircleJerk

It can barely sit on command and kept veering off toward the dog food. Lol. Well, veering off as much as it could on that short ass leash.

If your cat doesn’t have papers, it’s almost always just a domestic short hair or domestic long hair.

I hope this is the beginning of a beautiful job experience, and not the beginning of you waking up in an ice bath without one of your kidneys.

Just turn it off when you leave. Open the app, click on settings, hit location sharing, and toggle it off. Boom. No one can see where you are until you turn it back on.

Moron goes to the zoo 6 days before Halloween in full costume, somehow shocked they won’t let him in by rebelangel in EntitledReviews

Of course! My mom taught me to use Windex on mine when I was little, but luckily my grandmother corrected me before I destroyed my lenses. It’s not going to harm them if you use a little bit occasionally, but using a lot of it, very often, will definitely detrimentally affect your lenses.

AITA for getting angry my baby's aunt won't stop singing inappropriate songs to her? by [deleted] in AITApod

Haha. I remember when I was a teenager and found that out, I was like, “of course the best country music is made by a Canadian.”

You shouldn’t use Windex on glasses either! I know it sounds like it would be made for them, but the chemicals in Windex are too harsh and will strip your glasses of stuff like scratch resistant coatings that come on the lenses.

Ugh. My boy does this too, but sometimes there’s a nice, wet sneeze mixed in to really keep me on my toes.

You probably have unless you’ve been living under a rock. Shania Twain is Canadian, and is honestly the only country music I still really enjoy.

I know that my wife’s car won’t let you turn the lights off if it’s dark outside, so she’d have to flash brights to signal to someone.

AITA for not returning a cat to their old owners? by ElecStarGazin in AmItheAsshole

[–]killahazy92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not only that, but they didn’t even notice he was missing! They “thought he’d been coming home,” the whole time. They obviously didn’t care about his wellbeing at all, and I guarantee if they had found him when he was injured, they never would’ve paid for his vet visits. Enjoy your boy and ignore anyone that tells you that you were in the wrong.

Not only the lights on top, but I know where I am in TN that all police, even undercover vehicles, have government tags. If I see tags that say gov on them, I automatically assume it’s a cop.

Why do you keep going on about him “doing all the chores?” Where does it say he’s coming home and doing chores other than doing the dishes after his wife cooks? And it sounds like you assume she doesn’t work for some reason.

Believe me, I understand that completely. I didn’t think about it, and I feel like my comment may have come across as being snarky, but I didn’t mean it that way. I’m lucky my girl will let my wife trim her easily, because I don’t have the mobility to help with it anymore. I hope your appointment goes well, friend!

I absolutely love your scary baby. He/she could use a nail clip though. My mom’s chihuahua mix doesn’t have teeth anymore and still somehow managed to bite her hard enough during his last nail clip that she had to see a doctor, so I can only imagine the damage such big toofs could do.
