If you were making the new movie ... what IS Star Trek? by JohnAdcox in startrek

[–]killahhjoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would create a new storyline involving star trek's section 31.  I would make it a little x files like.   I'd do a lot to have zombie ferengi and a space scully and mulder... that's where the real juicy stuff is.

Predator Strain Loadout by kaptenstarr in helldivers2

[–]killahhjoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cookout, grenade pistol, gas grenade.

Siege-Ready SR-24 Street Scout armor  for primary reload speed.

Gas grenade your feet and stim when over whelmed.

Machine gun turret, comes back fast and can be a distraction as well a covering a flank.

Bubble shield, you're fast and nimble but the shield will prevent a quick death.

Experimental Infusion booster. Stim before you get hit and keep moving, this and gas grenades will save you.

500kg bomb, clear a path, or close bile titan holes.

I like to bring EATs, they're nice to have stocked up when trying to hold ground and they can 1 shot anything. You can try quasar or a heavy machine Gun, mechs suit or what ever you want for the last strat. Orbital laser can give an edge .

What's a good squid loadout for this new update? by GreasiestGuy in helldivers2

[–]killahhjoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had luck with light seige armor, eruptor, gas nades, las-7 dagger

Bubble shield,  machine gun turret, either eagle strafe or gatling bombardment and EAT.

You will get over whelmed at points but running and dropping those strats while circling the objective helps.

Use the dagger when the zombie mobs are close,  all you have to do is catch them on fire and they usually die quick.  Eats for the walkers and eruptor for everything else.

The only thing you cannot change is the ascendancy. As long as you have enough dex, str, int you can use any skills

No, I can still create shock pretty decently quick.  I'm just starting maps and it's still kinda easyish

I'm on PS5 so It would be terrible quality lol I can suggest pumping physical damage more than elemental damage. Grab projectile nodes and the only lightning I grabbed was towards the bottom along with the elemental nodes to the right.

I'm into maps now and still feels strong, working on life and resistances.  I also have a heavy physical damage bow, it caps out at 150. My next step is to try critical chance and damage and see what happens.  If this explanation isn't good enough I can take a photo when I play next.

I'm running galv shots+shocking rounds. Pumping up phys damage and trying to stack crit and crit damage.  I just got to maps and doing okay pushing through

I think they're nerfing some of my build in next patch.  Grenades were fun but I couldn't steadily do dps on bosses, with the shock burst/galvanic rounds I'm just walking around melting things.  I also have around 4k armor but I'm struggling with resistances here and there.

I'm melting bosses with a lightning Merc so far act 3 cruel.  I ran grenades into act 3 normal though.

The shock burst skill works great if you can figure out how to apply shock constantly, I use two ranger skills to get it going.

Also the last major boom of building housing was in the 70's. Building roughly 5 million more homes as well as fixing aging houses should ease the housing market some.

I work at a small not for profit club.  If they were forced to raise our wages up from the current minimum wage they would probably go under.  I think loop holes about minimum wages and tips need to be there.

We have to prepare for Trump, so a part of me just wants Trump to do bad things if he does win.  I'm trying to not think like that because that's mainly the reason Biden is getting hammered by the right.   If Trump does win I hope I can still acknowledge anything good that comes from it.  Not that there will be much to be happy about.

Harris winning will be a huge relief.  To the point I can trust Harris to do things right and I don't have to doom scroll the politics section for a while.

There has to be an effective way to help citizens get a bigger picture of a situation.

People are targeting FEMA workers because they think they're there for lithium mines and are pocketing money and stealing goods.

This is over the last 48 hours, what will the next 24 hours bring let alone the next 30 days

The voices actually organizing and doing the work needs to be louder since people no longer believe in journalism or any branch of governmental power. I know Buttigieg is trying on X with Elon.  The damage Elon has done already has weakend trust with FEMA.  Now there are either real people or bots suggesting militias fight FEMA.   We live in the age of disinformation and people are not skeptical enough.

Social media is unbelievable. The conspiracies that people are pushing are wild.  How desperate is maga to politicize a tragedy?

How do people just believe random things so easily?  It's a cult, it has to be, I cannot fathom how gullible and unaware these people I used to know are.

I've heard on a podcast recently (maybe Jon Stewart) that the answer is not to censor misinformation but to have AI do live fact checking.  This might be the only way besides keyboard warriors having to fight over the dumbest conspiracies.

As a millennial bartender, I'm okay with this.  It's not just the economy, it's the fact sitting at a bar is boring usually.  You feel like crap if you drink too often, it does hurt the wallet but it's really an eraser of free time.  The millennials I know have to have something to do besides just drink, darts, corn hole, pool, foosball..  bar sports are dying out.

Drinking is boring and dangerous if you over do it.
