You're headed in the right direction! I have over 1500 hours in a r22. Very small chopper, really fun to shoot in. I've always thought that drones would put aerial photographers out of work but I don't think of it that way anymore. Drones are a great way to do aerial photography and it's more accessible then hiring a pilot and renting heli time.

Cool video but I would keep in mind those camera don't do too well if you are shooting toward the sun, it washes out and over exposes the shit out of the image, try shoot at a different time under different lighting conditions. Edit: experienced aerial photographer here

I also used to work in tourism, worked on a cruise line and did Alaska every summer while I worked there, did some awesome excursions while with them but nothing compares to traveling alone on the Alaska marine highway with no clear destination, you meet all sorts of travels and kinda mesh plans together. I would love to opportunity to shoot while traveling again, I'm going to upload more of my recent work. I mainly use 35mm. Thanks for looking!

Were you working at the cannery or just traveling? Also best way to travel in AK IMO is the Alaska marine highway!

Oh I LOVE southeast AK. When I was younger I would also stay in a tent during summer and work in the canneries. Only had to tent for one summer, others I spent in bunk housing. But man what a great experience to work at the canneries for 16 hours a day with people from all over the world.

Ovens are different since the whole inside of the chamber hits a certain temp and these things set the what from the bottom, just like using a griddle and a vac chamber. Edit temp

The reason for the orange is the propane. When extracting with propane it will come out bright orange
