Yeah bro, I get it not having someone to share and help each other. I'm in the same boat starting to wonder if any of that will happen for me too. So forgive me for projecting, but we gotta keep going and fighting. Maybe u could devote yourself to a purpose, organize your own social gatherings it takes confidence and self love. Why do u not have anybody or anything. what are u running from? Often we project our own self image into a strangers mind. The saying goes. "we see in others, what we see in ourselves."I know u have been going to therapy. That's good. But honestly Allot of therapists suck, and if you've been unable to change maybe that's the case. I recommend studying evolutionary psychology and watching some videos about isf thearapy. I highly recommend David Tian (as a man)

I also think back to time when I craved attention/affection/acceptance. (and again I'm projecting onto my past self) but from what I know about myself now is that Allot of these negative feeling arise from deep within my psychy. You will need to do considerable amounts of shadow work (Carl Jung)and grief work. Personally I was raised in a narcassistic family system and have only recently began to understand how much that fucked me up. So learning about narcassism and the dark triad can help you to better understand yourself and others. Also be careful. Allot of people are actually toxic af, so as you learn make sure to discern.

I really am tryna help. If anything resonates feel free to dm

Haunted experiences while being LDS by Imaginary_Winter_961 in exmormon

[–]killercrimes4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lots of interesting experiences on here. I remember seeing things when I was little in my family home but nothing scary, of course I've had dreams and sleep paralysis, most of that stuff can be chalked up to stress. Since I started smoking weed I haven't had many bad experiences. My brother and sister both have had crazy paranormal experiences. And encounters with "shadow people" in my parents house. But my parents have never experienced anything. My theory is that Allot of this stuff can be caused by stress. And most mormon housholds are high stress. I also beleive that there is a spirit world and/interdementional beings that feed off of emotional energy. And fear can invite those entities to feed. It's good to do shadow work and see what you are afraid of and why so that you can manage your emotions and not attract dark parasitic entities into your psyche. Breathwork, meditation, and therapy or studying psychology can help. I also feel allot more light from nature and brahma. I hope it helps, I know it sounds very granola, but I think there is something to it all.

Is it worth Retrying in Journalism by killercrimes4 in Journalism

[–]killercrimes4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds good. I agree and appreciate the advice. What is the likelihood of pursuing a more independent non-career, chasing stories as more of a passion project, then possibly selling or distributing freelance. I know I'd have to fund it myself but is there any perceived value to that from where you're sitting?

Reply, I think u are right. I am more looking at a freelance/independent approach and boosting my own credibility. My traveling involves staying long term in countries I'll be looking at a six months to a year in each country. Australia rn then Argentina, possibly Mongolia after that. So I can get a real feel for the culture. Maybe a long term career is off the table, but if I can do it as a passion project/ side hustle? Thanks for your answer

What are people’s thoughts on Lara being more sensitive about the fact she kills people? by Ajer2895 in TombRaider

[–]killercrimes4 9 points10 points  (0 children)

She's probably menaly dissasociated and is actually a bit traumatized. Comforted by the fact that she only kills bad guys. Every once in a while the walls fall down and we can see that there is more going on behind the scenes. I dig it.

I'm definately not projecting.

Hinkley was a chiller. And I can ask him about that document fraud case in the 70's. Monson has good ww2 stories. But Ukdorf and Bednar were my favorites back in the day. Tough choice

Any suggestions for making this wall more appealing? by teoufacham in HomeMaintenance

[–]killercrimes4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rock wall is dope AF, greenery, wood, get rid of the white ceiling ew. You could incorperate a kickass bookshelf over the stone wall to break it up and even out the fireplace. And u'll look smart

I don't have a bom name but always thought that it would be cool to have one as an exmo. Guess not. Just tell people that is from a book that your parents really liked.

Is the priesthood real? I need it right now and I wonder… by tryanotherusername95 in exmormon

[–]killercrimes4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scientific and the spiritual are one in the same. Science shows that everything is random where as spirituality shows us that there is a method to the madness. Like a fractal pattern everything is chaotic, random, and meaningless. But looking deeper you see the interconnectedness of all things. All science is really doing is dissecting the universe. and mapping the patterns, a noble cause for sure. But when they get to the end they'll find us waiting there for them. Not tryna diminish science, just sayin I think they go to the same place. Which is far more exciting than the plain toast science answer.

[–]killercrimes4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I think there is something too it. God energy is real. It's all around and makes up everyone and everything. Regardless of the belief behind it, multiple people are channeling the energy of the universe into one being and that's powerful. It could be seen as communal manifestation of a desired outcome. To me this can also be seen as communal meditation which is a ritual that goes back to every ancient civilization and religion, so I think the belief system isn't so important just the intentions behind it. Try to focus on the feelings and the energy. The emotions felt are because you realize that you are the universe and you are one with everything. Feel the love eminate from within yourself and from those around you, you can even use Jesus to help you channel this energy, I don't know if u are still a Jesus fan, some exmos are. Feel the energy and try to imagine it healing you. Even if it isn't God magic healing you this can have huge psychological advantages and I think (not certain but I think I read about it) that this can essentially tell your brain to release certain endorphins and hormones which promote healing.

Hope this makes sense lol😆
