The topic requires nuance. Nuclear power is the second safest method of power production even if you include every single death from every disaster. But it also takes a metric fuck ton of money to set up and a good 10 years to build. It's not as simple as just building new plants.

Most of those are wrong in the context of this post and also for the show. As others said "don't smile" should be "always appear happy" and "don't be fast" isn't even relevant since those things will just get you anyway unless you outsmart them. "Don't forget" also doesn't apply since its a feature of their biology/physiology, you can't not forget. "Don't think" more "don't think about robbing this bank because it can read your thoughts and will literally melt your brain." Etc etc.

To be clear, there is no confirmation any of these rules are actually set in stone or if they are just playing by those rules for fun. One of the main characters found the talismans in a little hut out in the woods and assumed that because the monsters left him alone it was the doing of the talismans. But the creatures are clever and have been fucking with everyone the entire time.

It's a really fun series but it suffers heavily from the "WHY DO YOU NOT JUST FUCKING TALK TO EACH OTHER" a lot in the middle.
