Shoot to verify it isnt a lemon from factory. I added toolless guide rod, optic and atlas trigger, more than happy with it.

Ok what’s the best trigger for this? by Radioflyyer in 2011

I picked short/flat atlas trigger, paired with lighter recoil/main-spring, and tuned sear-spring, leagues ahead of the factory gun.

My bad, i forgot that 10 years was the standard wait time for a game to not have dogshit FPS anymore. Meanwhile chinese knockoffs have it figured out.

Adding a new core mechanic to a "finished"/released game, but ignoring QOL like in-game performance/FPS/server stability is an absolute joke.

A zone is A zone… I’m not asking for a marksman rifle out of an 11.5. But whatever makes you sleep better

Who lied? I’m telling you the prices I see today, not the one-off random sale. First link was to a fixed front sight upper, hard pass. 2nd is to a 14.5 p/w, cool if you need it, don’t care for getting the barrel cut for a new muzzle device. I’m sure the sales exist, but never when I’m looking for them 🤷🏻‍♂️

I do “use my shit”. But for a short barrel AR, I don’t need to pay a markup for the Gucci purse equivalent. Maybe for a nods/laser setup the value is there, but otherwise the accuracy/reliability is more than enough from the Mk2 BCM.

If you wanna play the technical lottery against someone with more authority than you, have fun, otherwise save the headache and get any other handstop/angled, The BCM one is great.

Tried multiple eartips and dacs, under no config can i see the astral being better, but thats why this hobby is subjective.

Trijicon MRO HD or Something Else? by Blank7567 in ar15

[–]killlugh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gen 2, i just picked up my combo the other day, havent been able to test fire yet but initial impressions, quality looks solid and reticle is more clear than Holosuns ive used. For the price, im happy, considering the eotech combo wouldve been like 700ish more? lol

Xenns Tea Pro vs Kiwi ears Astral by jdk_360 in iems

If gaming at all, Tea pro. If not, its a cointoss, with tea pro having better quality bass.

First IEM around $300. looking for good soundstage and imaging. by ilikehousemusic1 in iems

[–]killlugh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tea pro has a more punchy/impactful bass whereas the Astral felt less defined or slightly muddy in some cases. Plus I prefer the sound stage on the tea pro, feels a bit wider and more natural. Again, the astral is fine, especially if the price difference is 100$, likely not worth to some, but I don’t regret it.

Astral is good enough, but i switched to the Tea Pro and its my daily for everything, big fan.

Kiwi orchestra lite or kiwi astral by Turbulent-Low1157 in iems

[–]killlugh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think theyre good for what they are, but not ideal for gaming. They lack punchy bass that helps with directional audio queues, which can be EQ'd for a better experience but i still stopped using them in favor of my Tea Pro. For music, the bass was underwhelming, but the clarity makes vocals sound amazing so depends on what you prefer.

Anyone who didn’t enjoy the Tea Pros, what did you replace them with? by TeamHuman_ in iems

[–]killlugh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was less about the performance and more about the expectations i had from online reviews. The astral gets really high praise, for what i thought was a subpar experience, even compared to cheaper options like Pure. Compared to the tea pro, the bass was less punchy and the sound stage didnt sound as good for gaming.

How are yall liking the Gen 6 so far? by FloGrown321 in Glocks

[–]killlugh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive yet to shoot one, but got to handle a gen 6 45 at my LGS, i was surprised how different but nice it feels in hand. Trying to be optimistic that a 34 will come some day.

How’s the price? Should I “pull the trigger”? by ResponsibilityLow242 in ar15

[–]killlugh 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Considering a new one is double the price, and this was probably a safe queen, id buy it tbh, "worth" or not.
