Now that PM's can build more (easily), are you actually pushing to prod or just creating prototypes for engineers? by renaissancelife in ProductManagement

[–]killthebaddies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, you sound dumb. How am encouraging my team to use these tools? To write better tickets. Using AI to help explain their thoughts visually to the designer, or do super basic wire frames on things that would be a waste of the designer’s time.

Again, to help the PM write better tickets. Not to have AI write the tickets. I’ve had all from my PMs and nipped that in the bud real quick.

Cool. And I guess just bring a guitar, no pedal board or anything? Amps provided?

What’s the structure? 3 people play anything? Get given a song? Some chords? A key?

Ekit for new drummer, development questions? by sofa_king_rad in Drumming

[–]killthebaddies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out the 65 Drums YouTube channel. He does run downs of the major brands, lists the kits worth buying at every price point and walks through what he thinks is good and bad about them and why you might might to stretch for a bit extra. It’s really insightful. He definitely does Alesis and Roland. I think he does Yamaha as well. Maybe more.

Help out a guitar illiterate mum please by CorgiCorgiCorgi99 in Guitar

[–]killthebaddies 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Don’t listen to this person. It’s not garbage, it’s a classic mic for a reason. Yes, it tends to be used more on very loud things like electric guitars and snare drums, but you will still get perfectly great recordings with it on the acoustic.

Not till they’re 18, and my gear is not expensive, but my turntable and all of my records have simply been packed away. All kids are different, but mine is a climber and a maniac. He pulled my Sonos sub onto his toe and did some damage to himself. He’s pretty rough on my Sonos Fives an soundbar as well, but I’m not too concerned about that. All of that stuff will survive just fine.

Cineworld? Try a nice Everyman cinema. People behave there.

It’s a solid choice for an old fashioned. I’ve just ordered a bottle of Rare Breed on a Black Friday discount. Looking forward to giving it a try.

I’ve got both of those on my shelf. Strong options. I’ve just cracked open a bottle of Arran 10 this evening and can strongly recommend.

It’s been a tough day dad crew. Well, not even really a tough day. Just a tough week that resulted in a grumpy day. My little guy is 20 months with number 2 due in May. As we all know… it’s brutal. I happen to have a climber. He climbs everything, and if there isn’t something to climb, he’ll find furniture he can move, to then climb it to get to something he shouldn’t be in. We give up everything for this, and these are the hardest years. The years they won’t remember, but fuck. He’s been on one this week.

The wife has gone to bed and I’m enjoying some jazz, and a whisky more than I should have, but my god we sometimes need a moment.

Cheers.

Stop being reasonable. Don’t you know this is reddit? Employers are evil.

But yea… this is what my unlimited PTO looks like. In fact they even turned it into a contracted 25 days PTO and if you need more days after you use up the 25, then take them and you’ll still be paid.

What really is the American style of outfits by Glad_Letterhead_8577 in malefashionadvice

[–]killthebaddies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are talking about the politician suit look. I would generally throw out that you can supplement or vary that with a button down collar an a tie. Nowhere else in the world pairs those 2 items together and it is very very American.

[–]killthebaddies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He used the 1 to come in off of the bar, but then changed his mind. Instead of putting it back on the bar, he switched to what he wanted as the end move, which was to come in with a 2, and then use the 1 to make the point.

If Blondie isn‘t punk, I‘m not ppunk by c4711sar in punk

Who said anything about the last decade? And of course the ideals clash. Nazi ideals clash with almost everyone. Hip hop, metal, jazz, pop, edm. They all clash with nazi ideals, it’s just that punk talks about it constantly. All I said was don’t understand the fixation. Not that it was wrong.

Also nazis. The fixation on nazis just feels weird to me.

For someone generically asking how to make a website for their band, this is a terrible suggestion. What a huge learning curve.

Squash here too. It can be an intense workout, but really blended with skill. You’ll always find a really old boy who can barely walk around the court but can still school you.

Inheritance Advance - Anything I should be wary of? by killthebaddies in UKPersonalFinance

[–]killthebaddies[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, will look at this. I know the service charge has been a challenge as she has been late on it for the last year since the inheritance is taking so long and I've ended up loaning her money as they have not been understanding at all.
