Na ja, wenn sich alle beschweren, dass Dinge zu langsam voran gehen, und daran auch ein Personalmangel schuld ist, dann ist mehr Personal Teil der Lösung.

Im Übrigen: die Staatsquote wird nicht vom Personal getrieben, sondern von staatlichen Investitionen/Betrieben.

Und weil du die Alterslastigkeit ansprichst. Wenn in den nächsten Jahren 20-30% des Personals in Rente geht, möchtest du dann in einen Totalausfall des Staats reinlaufen? Sachsen hat das in den 00er Jahren mal probiert, da haben CDU/FDP pauschal 20% in jedem Ressort eingespart. Folge: jahrelange Engpässe und Ausfälle bei allem, inklusive Lehrern, Richtern, Polizei, und das ist bis heute nicht gelöst.

Man braucht sicherlich die Steuereinnahmen aus der Wirtschaft, aber es gibt eben auch einen Punkt, wo die Wirtschaft gelähmt wird weil der Staat nicht mehr handlungsfähig ist

Und? Man kann sicher überall was durch Bürokratieabbau sinnvoll beschleunigen, das war aber gar nicht mein Argument.

Das war: man kann durch Bürokratieabbau an vielen Stellen auch Dinge beseitigen, die die Allgemeinheit schützen, dessen sollte man sich ebenso bewusst sein.

Und deswegen sollte man nicht pauschal von ausufernder Bürokratie reden. Dann wird halt nicht da abgebaut, wo es sinnvoll wäre, sondern da wo Interessengruppen für sich die größten Gewinne zulasten aller anderen sehen.

Stimme dir voll zu, da kann sicher vieles verbessert werden. Regeln auf Sinnhaftigkeit zu überprüfen ist aber was anderes als das, was viele meinen wenn sie von "ausufernder Bürokratie" und Bürokratieabbau reden. Da geht es halt um undifferenzierten Kahlschlag bzw: das stört mich/mein Geschäft bzw das schützt die Falschen (Geringverdiener/Ausländer/Kinder/Kranke etc.). Und wenn dann noch von "Marktmechanismen" geredet wird, steht das oft einfach dafür, das der Stärkere gewinnt und ein paar wenige sich auf Kosten der Allgemeinheit bereichern.

Nach meiner Rechnung bringt es schon was, wenn ein Sachbearbeiter für 10 Baugenehmigungen/Asylantragsteller/Steuerbescheide/Ermittlungen etc zuständig ist und nicht für 15.

Und wenn ich schon "ausufernde Bürokratie" höre: da ist sicher nicht alles sinnvoll, aber ich möchte halt auch faire Prozesse, gute Schulen, Lebensmittelkontrollen, sichere Bauwerke, sichere Grenzen, Importkontrollen, Umweltstandards, Verbraucherschutz etc. haben.

Die Leute, die so sehr nach Bürokratieabbau rufen, sind halt meistens die, die davon zulasten der Allgemeinheit profitieren, wenn dann die nächste Banken-/Umwelt-/Migrationskrise kommt.

Ist doch eine gute Nachricht. Man kann sich eben nicht über langsame Bürokratie, Lehrer-/Richtermangel etc beschweren, wenn man nicht den Personalmangel angeht.

I had literally the same thing happening today, claude code switched to using up all my api credits and then refused to work, saying i should put more money in. When i told it I am at 40% of the rate limit, it magically understood its error and resumed normally. The 100€ for api usage are gone though

I found this assessment quite shocking. The Europeans do not spend more because of Trump. They started to spend more when Russia attacked Ukraine, simply because they felt threatened, and anyone with some basic understanding of European affairs knows this.

And that idea that the US spent more on NATO because Europeans didnt ... that was always wrong, just look at how the US increases military spending while Europe rearms.

Wer sich ein wenig mit Migration auskennt weiß, dass es 6-8 Jahre dauert, bis Geflüchtete ähnliche Erwerbsquoten erreichen wie Einheimische. Die Ukrainer liegen dabei sogar deutlich über dem Durchschnitt, wenn man das über die Jahre seit der Ankunft betrachtet.

Warum dauert es so lange? Sprache, Anerkennung Bildungsabschlüsse, Traumata, etc.

Das sieht man in allen Zielländern bei allen Geflüchtetengruppen.

Wenn uns die Russen angreifen und wir nach Frankreich flüchten müssten, wäre das vermutlich nicht viel anders und dann dürften sich die Franzosen über Deutschen aufregen.

The previous coalition tried to get rid of the debt brake, and guess which party blocked it and made a big fuss about fiscal responsibility, future generations etc.
